I am a fibroid survivor and really empathize with Ini, the guest. She is so graceful and love her movies. I went through the myomectomy and had my 2 kids afterwards but it was a journey. One advice I would give ladies is to marry and conceive early. Before 25-27years. These fibroid get vicious when women marry later because they grow to occupy the vacuum in the wombs.

I found out i had fibroid 2019 and am still yet to take it due to finance, i completely agree with her when she says it such a lonely road, not having someone to speak with with who can completely relate, And yes people need to learn to be very sensitive, have had friends who doesn't know much about it, give me this reaction of what's the big deal. It just so cray, may God heal us all

1. I think it is good that this actress is raising awareness about th condition ( not necessarily a disease) that is fibroids. We (globally) need further research to understand why it affects disproportionately Black women 2. I have been researching this condition for a few years. The idea of stigma that Ms.Ini is claiming is a bit of a sweeping generalization and she repeated it. 3. I hope those who have access to medical literature, read more on this issue as opposed to taking it on face value from one person's experience.

Change your diet, switch to plant based foods if you can.eat more proteins, reduce your carbs, stop eating meat, milk, bread, rice.stay away from pastries.drink lots of water, don’t eat late, detox regularly with herbs .make your food your medicine.eat clean, and use herbs and don’t forget to pray and you will be fine.

This television station has some of the best presenters and journalist. I hope they are working on a new studio or a bigger building. This a shaped table is not it! And ALL kind of shows cannot have the same studio setup.

Some women fibroids get shrunk gradually and do surprises the Medical Consultants. Some fibroids are in the womb or outside the womb. Both ways can produce babies depending on the growths

Our mothers in the past had children early and a lot of them didn't have these issues. Before the fibroids became issues in their late 20s and 30s, they had completed having the number of children they wanted. We may need to go back to basics. Complete uni by 22-24years, marry, have your kids by 32-34 be done and then can complete any Masters or PhD degrees. Just my 2 cents, from experience.

You forget to mention that back in the days, jobs were easy to get, economy was good. Men didn't have financial challenges as much, and as a result could marry easily and take care of their family! A lot of women are marrying late these days due to economical and other factors. Life is not the way it used to be , things are harder now!

Fibroid can also appear after you stopped giving birth... It's just weird... People have gotten fibroid after 4 kids. .. It's just luck

No one wishes to marry late honestly, if i had my way i would have been married at the age of 23 but i am 28 and very single.

Dear hope you are reading my comment, the best remedy is to avoid food with fat or fried food, if you avoid food that feed the fibroid it will eliminate or limit the growth of the fibroid. Just eat healthy no junk food.

Fibroid is linked to insulin resistance along with PCOS, the right ketogenic diet will certainly keep it at bay. There is a genetic predisposition for black women to have fibroid, then we must look at our diet which is starchy and high carbs. It is a metabolic disease like diabetes, cancer and hypertension so it comes down to our food.

So for this kind of show, you can't have the newsroom setup. And even if it was news this studio need some serious work. It looks dark, squeezed something about it giving outdated.
