Fun fact from an aircraft Environmental system specialist. The air conditioning will cool better at altitude since most aircraft use the external cold air to help cool the bleed air used for pressurization and air conditioning via passing it through a heat exchanger. Also the top 270ish degrees of the temperature knob is considered the "AUTO" position as the system in that position will try and keep a certain temperature the bottom 90 degrees of the knob is "Manual" as your setting the amount of hot vs cold air going though the pack regardless of temperatures, kinda like a water facet on a sink or shower. So there isn't quite a certain point the knob is in auto, more like a range that the knob is in auto as hot day most people would like the air a little colder and cold days people would want it a little warmer

Thanks for the video. A cool feature of the A300/A310 is that on the throttle quadrant there is a neat little button that you can press that directly controls the yellow pump to pressurize the system and thus the accumulator ;-)

Great video showing the systems depth. I've been really enjoying the challenge of learning the A310, it has some quirky and archaic features which makes it even more interesting for me. I might purchase the A300F as I'm getting the cargo itch.

Thanks for the great video series. You've introduced me to a beautiful lady, the a300. Honestly, it has everything that I've been looking for in terms of a combination of automatics and hand flying. I just finished with some pattern work at Memphis and it flies like a dream. This is definitely going to be my go-to aircraft.

I was really upset with this plane, but last updates made it much more flyable, with better fps and latency. So I'm back on checking all procedures and this tutorial series is great.

Hi, Thanks a lot for this video. For instance at 6m26s I can see the indication on the buttons are much more brillant than in my plane. What can I do to solve this problem ? Thanks.

Can the repressurising of the alternative braking system be done by pressing the Parking Brake Accu Press switch next to the left hand trim wheel instead of powering up the hydraulic system?

Nice tutorial for simulation but for real ops I don't know... Only an example. You switch on TS but not explain what it is and why it is here in this aircraft. We know that TS switches ensure a predictable flight control in inhibiting the electric pitch trim switches. Therefore you can not use the electric pitch trim but the manual trim which will also disconnect the autopilot. There are so many questions about this. What happens if you let them off, will you be able to use the autopilot? If yes with which restrictions? How does it work? Is it only an electrical switch to connected to the electric pitch trim or is it connected to the Autopilot Control unit? I did not buy this piece of software yet. Is it may be explained in the Inibuild manual? Also may be a short introduction to the A300 would have be nice. It is a kind historical plane for Europe which is the symbol of the join venture of France West Germany and United Kingdom in the 70's. Coming back to the TS, rather than a Fly-By-Wire like the other Airbus the A300 has a Yoke Control System in which the TS plays an important role in ensuring a stable flight control. I don't understand poeple who are so focused on study level simulation planes. Most of people even don't understand the 10th of all the systems in such a stunning aircraft (me included)

can you do a tutorial of the xplane version. They don't seem to be equipped the same as the microsoft aircraft.

This evening I wanted to try the MSFS A310 again to make a comparison before deciding whether to buy the A300-600 Unfortunately the A310 no longer works and after an evening wasted looking for the problem I discovered in some posts that it is a problem linked to the new AIRACs which it cannot manage correctly. If you enter a date before December 27th in the world map everything seems to work correctly. I'm very upset about this inconvenience and I don't think I will buy the A300-600 A part from that, thank you for your videos, which are always very interesting and very usefull.

Can simbrief import directly into the fms?
@kyokoluz41711 ай бұрын
yes, press Menu in the fms, then Acars and select Request simbrief. After that you now only need to select the Departure and Arrival. Note: you need to first setup your simbrief username in the Settings option in the efb.

Can we say that this plane is study level?
@A330Driver11 ай бұрын
Tbh I didn’t dive into the systems that deeply yet. It makes a very good impression on the first look, but I’ll probably have to do another video doing a system check flight with it to determine if it’s actually study level. There’s quite an inflation of the term these days so I’m rather careful using it.
