Just to clear something up: The aircraft is currently in Version 1.02. Since Version 1.01 the Maintenance features are deactivated. The programmers wanted to rule them out as the cause of CTD's that people were reporting. Currently the reactivation is planned for the next update. So while the event counter is working, there currently is no wear and tear in the aircraft.

TIL! I can't remember reading that in the changelog they pushed on the iniManager for 1.01, was wondering why my tyres kept looking like factory new after let's call it a rather experimental landing procedure.

People should stop trying to run MSFS on a toaster and then cry when it crashes... I've flown more than 20 times with the A300, 0 crashes. Even had a long-haul 7~8 hour flight once.
@Quotenwagnerianer8 ай бұрын
The didn't write that into the changelog, which is a gross oversight, IMO. They only mentioned that in their forums and on discord.@@dasluder

@@ElitistMagiMe too, nevertheless look for the 1.0.2 changelog, inibuild themselves fixes some things caused crashing. Not every crash is related to hardware.

For me the A300 performs worse than other payware, e.g. pmdg or fenix. I finished a 8 hrs flight and the performance drastically decreased towards the end of flight. I am even using the reduced version from ini right now.

Worked in aviation for forty years but never got the chance to go on a post maintenance flight test. Really enjoyed this one.

Hi Emanuel, you can find an A310 FCOM online, even from Airbus I believe. It should be very similar to the A300.

Did I miss something? Weather radar in MSFS? I don’t think that was fair to review that as an issue knowing that Asobo has NOT built support for it yet.

Under what scenario would you be manually pumping fuel from trim to center? Rapid descent? Unplanned landing? Failure of a particular system?

I mean this should be pretty good, given they first developed this for XP and it was fully featured in xp. I assume they have copied most of that over and improved it.

your zoom problem has to do with FSRealistic Pro, just deactivate the "Overspeed" effects. It works but I also don't know what triggers the problem.

Thanks, good to know! I’ll do that!

I actually just took a second look in FSRealistic, it's the "Overspeed" effect, not the "Over G" one. @@A330Driver

Loved this video. I’m always curious how our ‘high fidelity’ aircraft actually stack up when their systems are tested. I’d personally love to see one of these for all the high quality addons that are supposed to come out this year (777, A319, A321, MD-11, 757, etc).

Personally, I love this plane. There is still work to be done, but it is very good already. Ive completed multiple full flights and had very minimal issues. Its a great freighter in the sim

That was a great video. It's fun to really test everything out. When the RAT was mentioned, it made me wonder if anyone has modeled a working RAT for any MSFS 2020 airliner, complete with an external model? I'm also curious if anyone who owns this aircraft knows where, or if, it's possible to see a list of liveries that it comes with? Looking around on the inibuilds site, I see some random photos of different liveries, but no comprehensive list.

Your videos are awesome as usual. The only thing missing are wing views. I traveled quite a lot through 2023 for work so I missed a few vids so probably I missed it but your graphics/performance seem to have become better in the past months. Did you upgrade something?
@apilot538 ай бұрын
I love these videos, there is no one else on youtube going into this amount of detail. Seems like a very decent addon, even if many of the systems are mostly surface level with not a whole lot of depth behind the switches. It will probably satisfy 90% of simmers out there. Not quite at the pmdg/fenix level though.

Amazing to me that a $40 simulation add-on can provide legitimate training to someone thinking about getting into the Airlines or even for existing airline pilots. Furthermore, content like this will certainly spur interest in folks thinking about an aviation career. This is why I think flight simulation is the most critical segment in computer gaming as it can have a real-world, positive impact. This is certainly the case for me.
