Couldn’t agree more, humiliation content (at least imo) is overrated. I especially hate the colorism factor that plays into it as well. Also, can we talk about how some of these “humiliation vids” involve underaged boys (mostly middle/ high school aged) being approached by grown women? It’s giving pdf file, and it doesn’t sit well with me at all. Knowing darn well, had it been an underaged girl being judged/ judging and or approached by these men, it would’ve been a problem

People for centuries find black dysfunction a circus show tho. They're akin to minstrels. I had no trouble scrolling through my list but I follow a ton of non problematic CC. I choose not to engage with the foolishness on the other side. It didn't take me long to find Naomi Cannibal, Kidology, Chrissie Empressive, Str8 facts, As told by Kenya, Courtney jinean, Kimberly Nicole Foster, Yhara Zayd, Ella pastoral and Too much mouth just to name a few. Some have eyebrow raising politic but unless they're advocating for harm on marginalized communities eat the meat and spit out the bones.

Lil Kennster is a black woman Vtuber who does gaming recreations and games playthroughs, Andre Black Nerd Comedy is a retro Nostalgia enthusiast on all things Geek culture and has such an uplifting energy and genuine love on the topics of videos he does, The Shy Narwhal is a black woman who does vids on lost media & forgotten content from the 2000s, Onsta is a entertaining Black woman Vtuber on Twitch who does a lot of gameplays on Yakuza & other games. Jason Blade who is a black animation reviewer, Wacky Delhi another black animation reviewer who does essays on different cartoons or obscure titles.

My step aunt was talking shit about me for watching RDC. I was watching them play Mario Kart one day and she asked me why was I watching that. It's weird because she loves watching smash or pass videos. Excuse me for not wanting to sit & watch people be pick mes for 40 minutes straight. 4:10 it really is the current gen version of reality tv. Just a toxic amalgamation of what became the most easy thing to produce to grab attention, coincidentally right after a creatives strike Like in 2008 after the writers strike, felt like a huge boom of reality tv being produced because producers didn't want to pay union wages. Feels like this is the 2020's streaming version of that after the strikes last year. And not to dog on the actual casts who participate either, cuz now those people are suing the producers of the old shows who had them working so many hours while making less than minimumwage either. Hope something similar happens to any of these current ragebait shows that treat their cast to horrible work conditions

This honestly goes even farther back to the Daytime talk shows, shock radio shows and primetime "Reality" shows. Yet that's the problem is that people legit LIVE stereotypes or people simply don't care and are looking for fame. How many of us watching Maury where like his content devolved from a more broad topic base to maybe 70% or so our people not knowing who that daddy is? Now MAYBE those very children from that time are now old enough to be in these modern versions of that "reality". Trashy TV was always a problem especially once you have retrospecive of the genre and how exploitive it was.
