sad thing is if you bump him, you make him recover his focus, the only one that survive bumping him was the pro driver, bump him, did not made him rage and lost anyway, but takumi think he had the upper hand after that, only to be beaten by his father and get his dose of reality XD.

Some people don't understand WHY eurobeat goes so well with drifting, it hightens the excitement tenfold if the shots and the music line up/ complement each other. Yeah people don't realize this is the single most brutal race in the series. Shinji has this track MEMORIZED. This is his Akina, its like if someone had showed up in the same car and crushed Takumi in episode 1. Even with cheating Shinji still got overtaken TWICE on the ONLY course he could have ever won on in the first place. All on a course Takumi doesn't even know. Takumi's 'wings' are him manifesting his self-generated plot armor. There are real drivers that do this, they're just incredibly rare.

Hell yes. I swear to god man, Initial D is one of the greatest examples that there are things you can only achieve with animation. Those scenes go so freaking hard, and it's 90% solely because of those camera angles. The entire opening of Final Stage is the most epic shit, and it's ALL due to crazy good camera angles. It's the kind of thing you just can't achieve irl, not even with drones. The animation direction in Initial D is godly.
