Nice! I have a 44 mag Raging Bull with a 8 inc. barrel. Soda cans at 25 yards its easy to hit. Very manegeable gun. Greetings from Brazil!

Thanks. I bet it’s fun to shoot. I’m not accurate enough to hit soda cans that far.

Great video. I Got the 627 Tracker Saturday and shot it at the range yesterday. It shoots very well. Just have to get use to it. I deffinitely like the 4" barrel less recoil. But that 605 ride with me when am not carrying my 856 Defender. I cant bring myself to wearing a semi auto yet, so I keep riding with the wheel gun.

Man. I let a Taurus Raging Bull in .44 8 3/8 barrel slip away from me years ago. I went into my LGS feeling like I didn’t belong there. An old man came to me and said you are veteran. I said yes. We talked for about two hours about guns, bears, our travels, shooting and hunting. I told him I saw that gun and he let me pick it up. It felt so dang good. I gave it back and said maybe another time. He said if it’s there he will gladly sell it to me. He was even going to hold it for me if I would be in within the next two weeks. I couldn’t go that route though because I was leaving to Ga for about a month in a few days. We said our goodbyes and I left. I made it down the street to the intersection at a red light. It was like the Angels were talking to me. That was the longest red light ever. While waiting I was thinking man, she was gorgeous. Two tone. I thought about getting it maybe next month but then I was like you already let one get away. It was like transformers at that moment when Megan Fox walked away from Sam. Player literally came on my playlist next through the speakers. I looked in my rear view mirror and seen nothing was behind me, put my truck into reverse and drove backwards like 20ft into the first industrial driveway. Then I put her in drive and went back. The same Gentleman was like you are back. I said I have to have her. He said I figured. She is no RedHawk but she is good enough for the price. I got it. He kept it for me until I was coming back. As I had to wait for my BG check to pass. He let me know they would hold it since I paid. I took a chance. When I came back and got her……it was like getting some for the first time again. I was in love cheesing from ear to ear. Dang fine gun. I was thinking I wanted a 10mm for capacity but that 6 shooter just called out to me. She hasn’t given me any problems. I do see a lot of people having issues sighting them in. It is usually over or under. I didn’t have any trouble. Was pretty much spot on from factory.

I really like 250 Grain Keith LSWC bullets over H110. No need to go to 325 grain LWFN. Especially if your accuracy suffers some. I didn't see any bad flinch but it doesn't take much... as you know. Load up one bullet in the cylinder and spin and then close the cylinder - not looking and shoot - you will be able to clearly see if you're flinching when you hit an empty cylinder. Thanks for the review! I am hankering for one of these but I really don't need it. I have a really nice old Ruger flat top 44 Mag with 6.5" barrel already. These do allow for easily mounting an optic though - like a nice little red dot or holo sight = something that is becoming more attractive to me as I age....

@theoriginalOSOK yeah, I’ve never looked up his loads. I don’t think I’m still enough to know if it’s me or the pistol or the loads. I’ve thought about a red dot, I’ve got a few laying around. I’ve done that a few times with a spent casing, or even have my kids load them for me.

@@carletonrhinehardt5125 wtf are you talking about? The problem is over penetration and low capacity. You can get 17+1 of 9mm +P in a glock. Waaaaaaaaaaay better option for carry. A .44 magnum absolutely WILL go through somebody and retain lethal energy if they aren’t wearing body armor. Do you want to be the guy that shoots a kid?

@@carletonrhinehardt5125 also, this gun is definitely not easy to conceal and draw, and it’s stupid heavy for a handgun. It’s just… not good for carry…. Like at all.

I recently got this gun and I shoot the S&B 240gr jsp. I have noticed that when I use the guns sights, the shots are opened like yours are. When I use my green dot, the shots are much tighter.

That Raging Hunter is a nice caliber and I kinda think if I did this again I would have gone with the 454 caliber instead of the .44 Mag. But here nor there I think both are very unique and an excellent work gun.

The Raging Hunter has an aluminum shroud to reduce weight out in the barrel. A stainless steel ported barrel is inside the aluminum shroud.

It’s because 1: the gun is quite large, and 2: the muzzle break directs gasses upward to reduce barrel lift.
