Injector Testing using the Tech 2 and Swapping my Battery Box.

I like the idea of the ultra sound cleaner for the injectors. I wonder if you can do the same test you were proposing without the Tech2 tool by just unplugging one injector at a time? (A lot more hassle though!!) You may be able to identify the injector wiring to the ECU and cut them and install a bullet connector to save taking the top of the donk.

Ben, you could but you'd have to remove the rocker cover to be able to unplug them individually and that would get very messy. I reckon that's why the tech 2 has that function. You only need to do that particular test if you have a bad injector that is causing the engine to run badly, I was just trying to show how it worked.

Had some 4jb injectors cleaned with ultrasound. Was good.

I've not really looked into replacement intercoolers but I have seen them on different cars. I'll see what I can find for you.

Hi, I couldn't find anything ready-made but, PWR do a range of intercoolers that you could adapt to fit - shop.pwr.com.au/ I also found a reference to a NZ company that made them but the poster had lost their link.

How do you turn a fuse off, circuit breaker maybe.

Either unplug the fuse or use a circuit breaker trip. That is what I do for my Inverter to ensure it is off, trip the breaker.
