The first ones were very much a OMG DID YOU SEE THAT SHIT, but over the course of the game's life there were lots of complaints about how long they took to resolve, so in 2 they were scaled back in terms of length significantly, but did about the same damage. The Bat-themed ones are definite standouts.

Yeah the first games stage transitions were better than the second game. I remember NRS said they shortened them because they didn't want to break the pace of the match and prolong it but I personally didn't like that..the ones in the first one was way cooler and cinematic imo. Makes sense for a super hero fighting game. Great reaction guys. 😃

I'd prefer the option. Meaning a competitive option to either cut the scene or shorten it. By default no competitive setting and have it last 22 hours or whatever destroying the galaxy and continuing the fight in another dimension. Whatever nonsense they want.

There actually is an option to shut off transitions. I follow the tourney scene but it's also in the game either under tournament mode or options(I forget which atm) but I know it's there. I don't know if I'd say last 22 hours it's a stage transition that does damage as you're falling thru whatever while looking cool its very unique as no other fg has it nearly as dramatic or cinematic. But I agree that there should be always be an option to shorten it or simply have tournament stages without them or if they do they're vastly shorter.

There's actually a reason why everyone survives those crazy things like getting ground up by mining drill or surviving vacuum of space and fire. In Injustice universe, when Superman showed signs of turning into a tyrant, Lex Luthor developed a serum that gives normal human the same physical strenght and durability as Superman. In the Injustice comic, when Superman came to batcave and almost killed Bruce, Alfred took the serum and beat the shit out of Superman. In any case, all of them have taken the serum to be able to stand up against the evil Superman. Supes is still stronger because he still has unique powers such as flight, eye lasers and other classical powers.

My favorite stage transition has to be Arkham Asylum in Injustice 2 as it seems very brutal to get launched to caged Inmates to a elevator drop till exploding out of Asylum. 😌 with that said, I shocked about Injustice 1 Arkham stage have villains models from Batman Arkham Asylum/City into a fighting game. Nice touch and can’t wait to see Injustice 3 stages once it drops.

Actually, Injustice 1 in Metropolis stage has 3 transitions. One where you fly up through the building, Two where you fly in to the building and Three when you fly out of the building back to the streets. Also, i already forgot that Injustice even had these transitions, that is how long ago i played first game. And until your reaction i even forgot that Injustice was a thing, and to be honest, the first game is kinda boring, in comparison to Mortal Kombat. I remember that i got tired of Injustice like weak later after played it, but when i was playing Mortal Kombat 9 i was having so much fun for some reason. Maybe it's Injustice's brown filter, that makes visuals, like hot looking, like the weather is always hot, or like in those early 2008 games, where visuals were had brown filter like Far Cry 2 or GTA 4. So yeah, i'm not a big fan of Injustice, but it's a cool game for a short play.

The transitions were great. But like they got repetitive and like you rarely saw them in tournaments lol but they were always fun to set up mid combo. Also the reason why they can take this stupid pain us because of a pill they showed in injustice 1. Its basically a superman pill. I hope you're planning on doing all of Guilty Gear Strive's supers, not much, but when used in a combo, it is heavenly, maybe even react to Guilty Gear Strive's Story mode, it's pretty much just a movie, no combat gameplay at all in it, and all the animation went straight to the gameplay, so you might have a laugh if there's any awkward looking scenes!
