Its the Clash system. Its basically a counter move. They introduced it in the first Injustice previews, but this is the first time its been shown in the tournament.

There's currently a TV series called "Arrow" which is all about Green Arrow, it's a really cool adaptation, it explains a lot of the origins.

Its basically replacing the breaker from MK you can wager your super meter and whoever wagers more wins the little clash and the other persons super meter

I've been thinking about this for a while. Ever noticed those flashes of purple/blue energy that pops up when each character is fighting? It shows up in every fight, in every character; just look closer.The development team says there'll be a reason why guys like Green Arrow can take on powerhouses like Hawkgirl and not get turned in puree in this alternate DCU.

It's just for these videos, for more cinematic effect. In the actual game, you'll see your health bar and super bar. There's some prerelease gameplay videos floating around that display them.

Martian Manhunter's statue was in hall of justice - where Superman's big ass statue was so from all the Regime symbols and superman statue i am guessing that he must be on Superman's side to still have his statue in there... This is giving me hope for him to be in the game!! And the fact that we havn't seen him as a stage interactable!! :D
