Wisdom is simply the ability to use knowledge well...Billy isn't old enough to put that ability to use yet...he has the raw power, but not the experience to really put it to use. Plus Billy tends to look up to Supes ( I mean, who else can a kid with godly power really look to as an example?) so he probably followed him at first due to that, and slowly it all dawned on him until he said something...at the wrong time.

Phobophage I agree with you, but age has nothing to do with "Being able to use wisdom". In this universe billy has been Shazam for years now, although he hasn't fully understood his powers (Since no one can actually teach him how to use magic). The wisdom of Solomon is basically a "Magic computer".

Not gonna lie, I had an idea a while back for Injustice, or at least a similar story...Superman goes bad, lotta heroes die, Batman is forced into hiding but with a twist...he is training a new Robin...time goes by, eventually a confrontation is forced, Superman has the upper hand, and Superman starts goading Batman, talking about how he is going to get another Robin killed if he keeps this up, and to just give it up...then, from the side, you see Robin stand up, and you just hear..."SHAZAM!"

I haven't really gone much farther. It'd be a newly refreshed threat to Superman since power-wise they have historically been roughly equal, and now Billy/Shazam has Batman's training, he is a stronger fighter now, plus, because Batman plans for things, he'd probably get some magical training from someone as well. I haven't gone further than that due to working on some stories of my own characters.

Phobophage Dr.Fate would be a great teacher. Since he's a lord of order and existed since the birth of the universe he might have some insight knowledge of Billy's powers and help him hone those skills and abilities.

Scrolled through the comments to hopefully find an explanation to this. I don't like it. What's the point of Billy if Shazam is an entirely different person? This is the only context where I've seen this kind of thing. In the newest Justice League animated movies, it's definitely Billy in a physically adult form. In this comic book, I'd rather believe that it's one of those "superhero refers to his secret identity in third person" moments.

Peachohyea I know, but remember, this is a different universe. It is possible that Shazam is a different entity from Billy, but there is also another explanation. In his Shazam form, Shazam probably separates his two forms as he, most likely, feels that they are different enough to be two separate personalities. Shazam is brave, heroic, wise and courageous and Billy is just a pre-teen who acts bratty and moody (like a teen). This is just my theory, to be honest.

this may be an unpopular opinion but, im not a fan of the whole "alternate universe" thing it just feels like writers can use all these amazing ideas, but with no consequence to the main storyline. nothing sticks, this isn't our batman, that's not our superman, so we can go nuts. the real batman is careful and cool and collected, the real superman is a boyscout that would never do something like this. you hear about injustice and think "aw shit, superman went nuts? how's he gonna come back from this? this is gonna shake the faith the people had in him to death, and he's gonna have to attone for his sins and work hard t-" *nah m8, this isn't the main storyline. none of this ever really happened* "what do you mean? it's happening right there! superman broke batmans back" *nah m80, it's AU, basically a dream sequence* "Well shit...this could have been used for so many interesting plot points, like batman trying to bring the joker back to life to bring him to proper justice, and not just being flat out murdered, but the joker comes back as an insane zombie and starts biting people, turning them into joker toxin zombies, many die, but batman finally manages to make the joker un-undead and basically human again" *that could be interesting, but that would involve consequences, and the only consequences dc can have are either A:dead civilians offscreen B:a dead hero that gets brought back to life or C: a dead hero that is immediately replaced with another similar hero* ok, im ranting waaay too long. im ranting so long that im starting to have fake conversations...
