You should watch the other season of Ink Master, they voted off an artist because he didn't have any tattoos on his body! Watching the episode, the judges talked about how the artist didn't have any tattoos & should. The artist goes on about how tattooed people complain about not getting jobs because of tattoos and it would be stupid if they voted him off because he didn't have any... which they ended up doing. Personally, I thought it was a stupid reason to be voted off.

Just saw this episode and I must say it really pissed me off. Part of the reason I've held off on getting tattoos is because of my worry on how any future employers would hold that against me. A tattoo artist was one of the few jobs I thought was safe from that type of social ridicule, so for that guest judge to go and call Jaime out like that just blew my mind. I don't care how good and well known that guest judge is; he just lost all my respect. How are you ever going to expect all professions to be openly acceptable of tattoos when you have a well known artist in the tattoo world turn around and pull the same shit. On TV for everyone to see non the less. Such a shame.

Good for you, but maybe try to figure out WHY you have this weird judgement. The majority of tattoos that tattoo artists get are also done by OTHER artists. Them having amazing tattoos on their back for example says nothing about their skill, but instead someone else's. Theres plenty of bald hairdressers that cut amazing hair, and male hairdressers who cut womens hair even though theyve never had long hair themselves. It makes no sense.

But he judged Jamie for not having tatts and basically got him kicked off the show, because the other judges pussied out in agreement with him instead of pushing back (they had never taken issue with Jamie before Mike chimed in).
