Stitchin’ Post was founded in 1975 by Jean Wells in Sisters, OR. Jean, and her daughter Valori, still own and run the shop as a maker's mercantile offering quality supplies for many crafts and fiber arts. We believe in customer service, education, and supporting both our local and the maker communities. We’re also the founder of the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show and Quilters Affair.

Jean & Valori ... both of you have given us a gift of "eye candy". What a fabulous show this is!! So much talent and both of you present such unique, colorful and well-composed art!! I have been a fan of Jean's work for many years now and am thrilled to be coming to Sisters again in September for a Betty Busby workshop. Hope to see both of you while I'm there.

I always enjoy your videos of what you have hanging in your gallery. I was wondering how Jean attaches the small stones in her pieces?

She attaches most of them with hand applique.

@@Stitchinpost oh I thought the small stones at the bottom of one of the smaller pieces were real.

@@shereeschlote9234 The tiny stones and shells are real - some of them she secures with thread, but it looks to me like most of the are held on with some kind of glue - I can't see any method of attachment.
