That is so pretty! Usually really busy tattoos just like a big blob of ink and it's hard to differentiate the separate little pieces of the tat. She did a good job!

Well, I agree with you up to a point DjVader. I think it's still a perfectly good tattoo if he got it for others to see. I'd be the same myself getting a tattoo like this. Other people don't have to like the whole "flowers on a man" thing, but it's self-expression. Letting people know who you are through body art. That's my opinion anyway. :)

I have 5 tattoos and I have to say the worst place to get one is on the foot, But the feeling is like a burning poke and the the horrbile itching during the healing ..And the feeling only gets worse the longer your tattoo takes. where are you getting yours done at??

Sweet as tat...I think it's just a shame that he wanted it in black and grey instead of throwing a bit of colour in there...they're flowers, they always look better with colour...and maybe a full sleeve of just flowers might be just a tad boring...I dunno, I'm just thinking if suddenly he wants to keep getting more tattoos, he's going to realise too late that he actually doesn't have as much room as he thinks....

actually, it was done in black and grey because of the skin tone. the skin tone varies cuz of the brown skin, so if there was color, it would fall flat not like if he had lighter / white skin. in the long run it was the right choice.

I agree with this on the basis of color options. You could put some darker reds and purples to highlight the flower pedals to make the flowers stand out even more. As long as you find a careful balance of color, it could look amazing.

im not slagging her work off i think she's an amazing artist.. but that being said seeing her line work when the first half was healed gave me confidance although my shading isn't any where near hers my linework is plus shouldnt ya work from dark to light. she was touching up lines with what i assume to be solid black after she used the black and white mix. surely that would stain the black an white mix?

opaque grey, instead of using a very small amount of JUST black which most tattoos consist of, mixing white makes it more like paint.

@sambrady92 idk. tomorrow im doing a sleeve with angels and stuff and im just getting the entire outline only with no color or shading and that alone is 200 dollars, but i think its different with parlors and artists. where u go basically determines that price. could be anywhere from a couple hundred to a grand and more. just call around different places and ask.
