Cool man, I just ordered a wifi timer, different maker, but I'm so excited for the ability to turn on my sprinklers from my phone. I get OCD with my sprinklers and like to audit them from time to time, its so annoying manually turning on with the timer I have right now. You should do like a 6 month or year overview how you are liking it so far.

Dude the wifi is a game changer. Like my old stystem the programming was awful and so basic these new systems allow so much more customizations

Does the lights continuously flash will it’s powered on or do they supposed to stop at some point ?

I believe once it was set up the lights only turned on if that zone was actively running. I didn’t really look at it too much once I got it all running. It’s a good unit I did move on to another one that you can find on my page though.

Great Video. Can we use this for solenoid 1 or 1.25 inch valve Operations for Drip irrigation. I am planning to buy from Amazon India. Also I have additional questions during the schedule if the power goes off or water not available will the controller start from where it is stopped or how does it work here since am using the water pump and have power fluctuation here in India.

@@harshagowda81 as long as your drip is hooked up to a valve that’s connected to the system it should work. My drip worked just fine. If the power fluctuates I don’t think it will just pick back up where it left off unfortunately the system will likely run as if it was on.

Thanks for the video. I was thinking of connecting this via a cell phone in hotspot mode (working as a router). Will I be able to connect to this with another phone remotely and control the watering system while I'm away? Thanks for any help!

That’s a good question. I honestly don’t know if that would work consistently but I’d be interested to see if anyone else had any success with this.

What happen if it loose power or wifi connection? can I control the valves manually not through the app?

So I know that if you lose power it won’t run that would be the same for all controller systems. If you lose wifi with this system though there is no way to manually run the system.

I got this unit, but have since determined that I will need at least 9 valves to control. is it possible to connect 2 iic-600 at 2.4Mhz network and run by the app? can the app see multiple iic-600 on the same wifi network?. If so, this would allow me to have 12 zones with two of these iic-600 controllers. Thank you

I’ll be honest I’m not fully sure if you can run two controllers off the same app or system. I couldn’t find anything online about it. I switched over to the imolaza system which does have a 12 valve system. I reviewed this one as well and personally think it’s better. Imolaza Sprinkler Controller Review. Thanks. I was on a bit of a time crunch. I opted for a HiOazo 8 zone system. It looks like a clone of the inkbird and uses the inkbird app. My hope is the app will recignize both controllers independently of each other...so one iic600 and one HiOazo 8 zone on a wifi network. Let the testing begin...Its a gamble, but so is life! 😂

Do you know if after programming The work frecuency, can you switch the wifi off ...and the device will keep on working according to what I programmed? This is a cottage in The countryside. I do not have wifi. Except when I uploaed The app that I connected with a friend mobile wifi.

I’m not 100% sure on this unfortunately. My best guess would be it wouldn’t work as it needs the wifi to keep track of time of day and the schedule to properly operate.

That could be a problem with your solenoid not flipping back to the off position. I would locate your valves and take a look at if it needs to be replaced possibly. Unfortunately sprinkler valves are not my specialty.

Interesting…how far away if your wifi from the system? Have you tried possibly a wifi extender? I haven’t had this issue with mine.

Man the guy who owned this house before did some serious damage to the garage walls…it’s only cosmetic and really nothing compared to what he did to the rest of the house we had to fix lol all in time though 🤣🤣
