I hear you! The steps can be a little complicated, so I understand the need for separate labels and packaging, but I did wash the little towels it came with and i'm now using them as kitchen rags (the blue ink gave it a little marbled effect?) It might be hard to tell, but they're more like a hand towel and less like a makeup wipe. Maybe an option for purchasing in store could allow for less packaging in the future

so true! it’s great that they include pretty packaging and instructions, but it would be nice if it were consolidated when you purchase multiple. I suppose that would require more labor on their end though to package individual orders.

You could get the tattoo you want as a temp, try it out and see if it's right before getting something similar for real. They looked very realistic. I expected it to be just like the ones you can get in a gumball machine.

it is a little bluish. it's really dark (almost black) but deff has a blue undertone, rather than green or brown. =]

I think they're cool and all but I hate the "temporary mistakes" thing they they went with for a while. Also the amount of trash. And honestly I'm a bit surprised at how expensive they are! I think if you're even a little bit artistic henna would be a better option, you could even use stencils with henna. But I really like the designs you went with, the collar one and the girl in the water are really cool. Edit: I just saw that you can buy bottled ink on their website, that's neat.

Oh my goodness the back fence came out so great! It looks so good. =) I always love to play with temp tats, helps me spend the time between saving up for the real things. Love the barrette/hat in your intro shot, added just the bit of omph to your look

Yes Shaney, I use them to test placement, size and sometimes even coloring when planning my next tattoo so these would be perfect to use as a test before thinking about or getting a real tat =) Also henna is fun and can be used as a test as well, it will wash off after about 7 good scrubs.

I'm so sorry to hear that :( tattoos can be a big change, and there can be an initial shock. Even at my salon, we tell people going through a big change that it usually takes about two weeks to recognize yourself and get used to such a drastic change in look. It's natural to feel a little bit of regret or hesitance with such a big change. It's hard, but do give it a little bit of time. (but if it's helpful to know, all tattoos can be lightened and removed if they're made with commercial inks. (so like not homemade ink) There are two different types of machines to remove tattoos, one for color inks, and another for blacks. I had a lot of success with purple removal, as well as black, but it was two separate processes.)
