OMG!!!! You are so totally amazing ... I just live for your videos!!! I invite my neighbor (who is my husbands aunt and she was the one that introduced me to card making), down to my house for coffee. We always end up having a couple of hours of watching YOUR videos. Jennifer, using the alcohol colors to color the white cardstock for these first layers card turned out so beautifully! I loved the heart negative and using white ink so Pretty! The Nuvo drops are so pretty! I love this stamps and I so appreciate the fact that they include a coloring pamphlet too! I don’t have any yet, but I’m going to saving to purchase some this year! Jennifer, this is A DYNAMITE TECHNIQUE! I LOVE IT! So many different ways to use the dies n’ stamps n’ inks! LOVE the CO-ORDINATION that Altenew has developed to make it easier for ALL stampers/card creators! I’m a big fan of Altenew materials~~and their “instruction/layout sheets” are great, too! However, YOUR IDEA of labeling dies on a magnetic sheet is SUPER!~~then matching w/the Altenew enclosed sheet! PERFECT results every time AND WAY EASIER! Whew! I was just doing "impressions" following one of your older videos! I had a few "boo-boos" with the die partially cutting through. I die cut through the "mistake" with another (smaller) die and got impressions on my die cut that looked great! Now I'm going to try impressing with two cardstocks. Never thought of that, but it is a great idea! Thanks so much for all your work and I LOVE when you update "old" techniques!! Peace + Love + Joy

Jennifer, your voice sounds just fine. I love your idea of using a marker to make different colors for the die cuts. I have some dies that use the exact same die for each of the pieces and it's kind of hard to keep running the same die through with different pieces of paper, and wasteful as well. I'll use your marker idea with those dies from now on. Thank you!!

You always make beautiful cards! I'd like to mention to yo when I first explored using a rubber matt to make an embossed card, I ran into a problem. I had overlapped the die like you did in the video. But my die cut through the matt that had the overhang. But the card got embossed properly. Heads up to your folks! I haven't tried it again. I need a new matt. LOL

I have botched coloring embossed areas before and ruined a batch of cards by getting the ink down in the sunken areas below the embossing. I saw a tip where a lady uses Jenga blocks with fun foam adhered. I found two Jenga games, finally, at a yard sale for $8. Now I just need to measure and cut foam, adhere it, and I will be in business. :)

Lovely cards - just what we've come to expect. One comment - I know the Picket Fence brushes are showing up everywhere now but the price point is quite high. I have a question..... I have a Big Kick and I tried doing this, but my card stock (paper) always cracks in the raised portion of the impression. I have tried a couple different dies, but always the same result. I have the impression mat (hard) and the silicone rubber mat. I even tried it with my clear plate on top instead of the impression mat, still didn't work. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? TIA.
