Count Monsparkle Thanks to you and Ink Potts I've now seen the whole Count of Monte Cristo Musical and the full movie. And seeing that Ink is still working on song five is awesome. The emotion in that song is very real.

Greg Stevens Yeah, I've read the books. I've seen a lot of people who read the books first and then complained about the movie/musical because it's so drastically different, but honestly, you can't expect to put such a big and complex story into a 2-hour movie without making some major changes. As you said, I appreaciate them both in their own ways.

Preview 1: Wendigos are a definite improvement over bugs as background singers. Well done, much more menacing. Preview 2: Nightmare Moon has never been so adorable! So, a thought came to mind as I watched Preview 2: The Nightmare before Hearths Warming/Christmas. Following pretty much a relative storyline to "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (though I'm thinking that some of you guys were already thinking this), I'm thinking that Nightmare Moon takes the role of Jack Skellington (obviously) as a good pony that hosts Nightmare Night every year rather than her other universe self where others fear her. Taking Sally's role as Jack's/NMM's companion would probably be either your character or Princess Luna herself, who would probably be more likely as a sister rather than a companion. Then I guess Celestia would take Santa's role in this whole thing. Then, just for fun, I'm putting the CMC as Lock, Shock, and Barrel. Though if I wanted to, I could have had somepony take on Oogie Boogie's role, but I don't know who would take it. That's all for me, I don't know about you guys, but this is all my opinion.

Thank you so much for this update video, these upcoming animatics all look amazing. I was hoping you'd do something based on 'In the Dark of the Night' sometime in the future, it's such an awesome song. And I was almost certain that 5/6 would be 'I know those eyes/This man is dead', great choice. Even Count Monsparkle and the others make an appearance which is really nice =) I'm really looking forward to all of these videos and I'll be waiting patiently until they are finished. The way I see it, the only way that animation could do these animatics justice is if the animator is from Disney. Not because they're better than all the other animators, but because they have a certain talent for these big singing scenes and the movement that their animations have is really how I could picture these being were they animated.

Just found this... It's funny; it's been a while since I checked back on you guys after discovering your sick Monte Cristo animatics (& I only just recently found the "My Subscriptions" tab of my KZbin, lawl), so I sorta wondered to myself "why did I like these guys so much? I remember thinking they were awexome, but..." Well, when you feel your heart ripped out 3 times over in a ~5min video, you remember why. Don't listen to people who tell you to change your animate style! We Love Your Animation:D Bride of Discord and Princess Trixie Sparkle use almost the same type of style of animistic as your and they are a big hit. They aren't full animation too and people still love it. This is your work that you guys put your talents, time and heart into and share with us to enjoy. If people keep trying to tell you to change your style then tell them if you want full animation then do it yourself.
