I was soooo excited to see that you’d uploaded this video. I’ve been looking forward to Inktober since I found out about it last year from watching your videos. They inspired me so much and over the past year I’ve worked to make art part of my regular routine. Seriously, Jacqueline, you were instrumental in reigniting my art flame. I have missed your daily updates ever since then and have been hoping that you would try again this year but worried that you would decide it was too much work to draw and make videos. I’ll be cheering you on and joining in myself. Last year I only got to 8 pieces (I fell into the trap of trying to make them “good”) and this year my goal is to do a drawing every day, even if it’s only a doodle. I hope that you will share your challenges with us along the way and include more difficult and less difficult pieces depending on how much time you have each day. I think that you sharing your struggles with us last year really help to humanize you and make you someone that I was rooting for and still am rooting for! Despite some late shipments. I get it. I run my own business too and know how stressful and steep the learning curves are. I’m still here, excited as hell to watch what you got for this Inktober. I really, really hope that you’ll do another drawing of that hot guy character in the woods. Still probably my favorite video of yours! And judging from the comments, I wasn’t the only one who’d love to see more of our witchy guy crush! ❤️❤️❤️

People get the wrong idea that ink is always black and that inktober should be all black and white. But there are colored inks too out there! :D

Man, I want to try dip pens so bad but I'm scared, haha. I guess that's the point of Inktober though... to practice. 😅 Good luck with posting every day, it's tough! I did that last year and decided to just do a compilation vid each week cuz it was a little too much for me. I'm excited to see yours every day though! 😃

I think what Inktober is for is learning how to ink, how to have confident hand and do nice lines in your artwork. Painting with ink is not really for this challenge. Is't just iritating when people think every "black and white" drawing is inktober. And, sorry, but watercolouring is just too far for me. It can be a cool monthly challenge but c'mon, just don't call this "inktober" when it's not.

agat787 Actually, the spirit of inktober is less about learning to use ink and more about challenging yourself to not rely on erasing and redoing and editing, but going with the flow of a more permanent medium. Not to mention there are multiple brands of "watercolors" that are actually technically inks.

I didn't wanted to be mean with my comment. And I totally understand and respect author's response. Inkober videos on this channel are simply not for me so I don't watch them. Wish more people do that instead on leaving their hate under every video. Internet would be a better place... yup, I'm idealist ;)
