Hi everyone! Here's my 2017 Inktober Sketchbook Tour! I loved working through the awesome challenge of Inktober for the second year in a row - and I genuinely feel like I learnt some new techniques that I can use in future drawing projects. Between the sketchbook and this video, this project probably took about 90+ hours and I'm really proud of myself for completing it. I did some inking drawing for Inktober, I did a drawing of a kaiju (strange beast or giant monster in Japanese Movie Genre) from Ultraman Tiga - Golza, next I worked Kermit the Frog from the Muppets, and I did Goku from Dragon Ball Series. I liked working on Inktober drawings I'm planning to doing them again next year.

There's a swan??? OMG I love swans. Don't know why but ever since I was little. I taught myself how to draw them, and later when I learned stitching yarn in a piece of burlap, I stitched swans. Oh I can't wait to see it

I did not take part this time, but I want to for next year. Chris, you have such a rich imagination. These drawings are breathtaking. And I love how you mix media. Back when I was a kid in the 1980s and the only art instruction I had was watching Bob Ross' Joy of Painting on television, I would have never dreamed images such as these would be possible.

Loved the whole sketchbook, the art in it was humourous at times and made me smile. My art teacher way back in school always said that if art evokes an emotion in someone, then you have done your job as an artist. I would have liked to have seen the art being done sped-up while you did the talk over placed on afterwards. Great job.

Almost too good! Damn, amazing. The animal drawings are gorgeous, and the drmatic contrasts with shadows, dark and light and the hints of colours. You surely have a fantasy mystical theme. I like the mix between realism and cartoony in your style.

I love it. We used several of the same subjects for the prompts but I have s lot further to go then you do. Next year I want to look back and see how far I've come. Swan really was fabulous.

Wow! The inkings were beautiful. They have inspired me to do my first Inktober for 2018. My favorite was the 19th drawing, with the prompt "cloud".

Your artwork is just truly stunning. I attempted inktober 2017 and i was inspired by your last years inktober. I has been wanting to try alcohol makers and I didn't have a clue where tk go, I didn't want to spend a small fortune for something i didn't know I'd like. I took the colour scheme from your previous inktober (black& grey, white and red) and honestly enjoyed it whilst I could. I normally do grey scale portraits so it was an easier transition to it. Thank you for showing us your amazing work and thank you for the inspiration!

I would imagine the caped character going though a huge quest ending in the United drawing. It would include all of his appearances in your drawings (the lightning and lava dragons for example).

Love ur Inktober journey, I did Inktober for the first time this year! I also did a sword in stone on day 6 but it was the master sword from Zelda in a Forest. I like ur take on it as well the flower is a nice touch.

Amazing job on this drawing. I love drawing fantasy art like dragons,unicorns,elfs, ect. I just got some Tone Taned paper and a white gel pen. Cant wait to see what i can do with it.✨💖✨

The Run prompt could’ve been a red cape character...it really adds to the story throughout, and it makes sense! For Mysterious? It could be a red character deciding whether to walk in or not. These are just ideas, and the drawings are AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL! I’ve always wanted to participate in Inktober, but I don’t have the supplies. Because of you, I added a few supplies on the wishlist because I want to be amazing like you are. My dreams are to become a digital artist and actually be a KZbinr and upload different digital arts...any advice on digital art? Thank you!
