Man I really needed this. 2020 I got shot up and ended up losing my right arm. Was in the hospital for 2 months having surgeries every 4-7 days and getting blood clots. Had to learn how to walk and use the bathroom all over again. Would drink my days away to numb the phantom limb and emotional pain. Even got to a point that I no longer felt like a "man" and actually attempted suicide by overdose and would have been successful if a friend didn't find me slump in the car. Of course I had to be Baker's acted and ended up going to a treatment center, but I've been without a drink since February 6th of this year and yeah some days are rougher than others, but I can do this shxt. And my son still accepts me regardless, says my prosthetic is like ironman lol. But appreciate y'all man ✊🏾💜 *Edit post comments* I really appreciate all of the uplifting and support, really got me in here tearing TF up... along with starting a new remote job last week, I'm starting to feel alive again. Can't thrive depending on disability ya know. But may we all not only survive, but prosper through our pivots 🙏🏾💜🙌🏾

Man I relate so much to this interview. In college I cut my main artery in my right arm. I almost bled out and left me dead by a terrible decision I made through emotions. I had to have a graph from my right leg to put into my arm. Had serious nerve damage and was told by doctors I would never use my right arm again. My story changes to me being able to finish college football and playing professional indoor football. I now have started a fitness company that’s inspired by my past injury. The thunderbolt within my logo resembles the scar that’s on my arm. It’s my lifeline to remind me how far I’ve come. Inky I appreciate your words and I’m a walking testimony of being grateful

This joint right here hit different for whatever reason. This is my new favorite episode, hands down. I’m very familiar with Ink’s story and speeches, but the fellas were able to pull back some layers on Ink that showed a different part of Ink. Job well done fellas. Ink’s words resonated with my soul. Grace and Gratitude. Extend grace to yourself and to others and be grateful for the small things in life. Everyday my mission is to make it back home to my family. That doesn’t get lost on me. When Ink said that at the end, I said to myself, “This cat gets it.” Well done Team Pivot! You gotcha a certified banger with this one! 💪🏾✊🏾🙏🏾

This episode made me think about when I had a brain stroke. 5yrs ago this month. I were 29 at the time it happened on my job at my peak in life. Everything was going very well and next thing I know I wake up weeks later confused on what happen to me and why I’m at my moms house. Thinking I supposed to be at work. And I’m screaming out to my mom like hey why I’m here and what’s going on . She was like you don’t remember what happened to you a couple of weeks ago . I replied no what happened she was like you had a brain stroke at your job and I broke down in tears because I knew right then my life was completely derailed. Went from 100 to 0 right before my eyes. I’m blessed to be alive and well I can still do most of everything I use to. I took from this episode. When things happen it’s either going to build you to be better or break you .

Let’s fucking go just found him the other day. Guy makes me want to run through a wall. The way ray lewis and Brian’s Dawkins did when I played football.

This man speaks so eloquently. With such direction, and umph... Like you feel what he's saying. With Clarity, and purpose. Not knowing who he was, I almost didn't watch this one, but I know The Pivot don't miss, so i hit play, and instantly knew this one is purposeful!
