Yes, but obviously, when the agreement was made, between the INLA & the Police, to allow the funeral to go ahead, without the men carrying the coffin wearing masks, the INLA would only allow very low level supporters to then carry the coffin. No INLA members of any significance, would be exposed in such a situation.....

@@michaelburnett7809 The INLA was formed in 1974 in a hotel in Dublin because of the ceasefire from the Official IRA in 1972 after the shooting of a young soldier from Derry who had joined the British Army and also because he was Catholic there was a major outcry from the Nationalist people in the area. The INLA are more socialist and Marxist than the Provisional IRA who had also formed after a split in the IRA in 1969 which led to feuding and bitterness between both groups...!! #Eíre32
