What a brilliant time saving way to approach this technique..... I love the look of inlay die cut but have always been put off using intricate dies because of the time involved. Your way makes the technique much more accessible. Thanks Yana

I love the easy way you shared with us for doing this Multi piece inlay card. The grey does look much better. Such a great tip! I don't have the sheets but I do have the widest sookwang tape! Perfect for such a project! I love the multi coloured one you did as well. Time consuming but if you are not in a hurt it's worth the time spent.

I love it, Yana! I have never tried the inlay technique, but when I get this beautiful die I am going t give it a try! Your card is so lovely, like all of your other work. You are such a delight to watch! As soon as I see your name, I go right for it! You make everything look so do-able, for someone like me, and that encourages me to try new things. So thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone, and lots of times I find it's pretty comfortable out there too! See you in your next video!

Another fabulous technique demonstrated by yourself Yana. This is a very tricky technique with all the bits of die cut pieces but as you say using sticky backgrounds both sides helps a lot. I do though think the technique is very, very effective and I will be continuing to use it with my large detailed dies. Thank you for sharing this with us crafters Yana. :O)

Re: adhesive sheets... if you were to line up the side of the sheet w/the remaining backing, you could achieve better results as it would allow you to line up the sheet better. Then you lay it down and remove the “guide”. Lovely cards!

Thank you! Yes! You can subscribe /join and cancel. This way you'll still get the first month die, but will not be billed monthly.

Absolutely stunning cards Yana and soooo helpful when doing this inlaid technique! I'd so love to join the SB Die Club of the Month (gorgeous dies at a reasonable price for sure) but when shipping costs more than the product (I live in Canada where shipping is expensive), I just can't wrap my head around it. Hopefully, SB will be able to work something out as I did hear they were trying to negotiate better shipping rates. Thanks Yana!
@Yana.Smakula6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Lynn! Yes, they are working on getting better rates to Canada. Hopefully soon!
@alanjones11686 жыл бұрын
I agree with you Nancy - I'm also in Canada. Shipping sucks up any amount you saved on sales items as well so you end up paying full price. Unfortunate for us!

Alan and Nancy - we're working on getting lower rates and hopefully we'll have them soon. Stay tuned!
