Inmates Find Hope and Change in Allendale Correctional Art Program

Behind the fences and beneath the barbed wire of Allendale Correctional Institution, is a group of men who proudly call themselves The Advanced Artists of Allendale. They’ve each demonstrated a willingness to try new mediums, practice new skills and through that, they’ve displayed a passion that- before prison- they never knew they had.

I am thankful that this program is available at ACI. We have so many good things going on at our institution. Allendale is changing how we work with inmates and giving them an opportunity to be successful when they are released. So thankful for the volunteers that make all this possible with there time and money.
