The part of the video I needed the most you sped through it now I’m having trouble putting all the wires back

this is so true I'm sitting here with the video slowed down as much as I can and I can still barely make out what he's doing with the framerate so low. It's like the one part of the video he shouldn't have sped through for no reason.

Thanks for getting the board to me. I swapped boards tonight and it was really easy to do. Take plenty of pictures of the wiring and watch the length of the screws so that you know where the longer ones go. Wheel powered up and seems to be great. Will take her for a ride tomorrow. The video made this job really easy.

Thanks for this video. You do a mindful job especially regarding those sensitive components responsible for maintaining a good riding day and not a faceplant. I'd suggest an ESD strap and/or mat, especially for those who work in a dry/less humid area or are sitting at a workspace wearing socks on a carpet.

Great video. It’s seems a bit involved for someone who has no idea what they are doing… but very informative. The song Echoes of Ireland reminded me of Trine/Magicka 2 lol

Thank you very much for this. I wish you'd have left it at normal speed with voice over for the reconstruction. Reassembly is the tougher part and you left us with the least to work with. Still great. Still appreciated. Cole is good at what he does.

Appreciate you guys making this video. It also shows are well built the V12 is. It's just a shame its had these cutout problems, which I'm sure stopped people buying the wheel. Would eevee's consider making a V12 tire change video?

Thanks for the video. I just fixed my tire (my V12 HT ) I did everything correctly putting everything back together. BUT I did see the BMS wire port kind sitting higher than the other female or male parts. So I tried to push it in carefully. It's the same wire u pulled out in 10:24 mins in your video. Well anywhomb I put everything back together. I turned on my v12 and it was fine til I plugged in the charger. That Thang beeped so damn loud it scared da s*** out if me lol. I took it out. But at the same time an error message came and Saif contact my dealer. Mind you when I first got the wheel it only charged up to 87%. Someone told me it could be a loose wire. I think it's the bms wire not connected all the way. But ima have to go back and look at the other battery connections. Could that be what's causing all the beeping ?

Hey guys! Thanks for this video! I appreciate the time you put into it. One question related to the note on resealing the phase wires: Any kind of silicone would be good here or do I have to look for some specific one?

Has anyone encountered a situation where after removing all 12 screws around the board housing (4 from the top corners and 8 from the sides) the housing still doesn’t slide out? I even screws from the top for additional leverage and a couple of vice grips but still no go. The board housing refuses to slide out (as shown in this video around 13:12).

I would have applied a thin film of heat sink compound to the new MOSFET'S before installation, to ensure an overall consistent contact. Excellent video though.

When can we start sending our wheels in for a board replacement?
@bravedave902 жыл бұрын
Damn! So, is this a normal problem with the V12- HT? I recently received mine and after the first day, I was told I needed a new controller also. Fortunately, it was within the warranty period so Ewheels replaced it and paid for shipping. I'm a newbie and not definitely not confident doing these kind of repairs myself. Looking at this video, it's even comical Ewheels asked me if I felt up to doing it. 🙃 But, would a broken controller cause balancing issues as well? I felt it was more difficult to balance than normal but attributed to inexperience and poor setup as I didn't calibrate the wheel either 😕

I have a problem with my EUC INMOTION V12. My EUC worked well for many months until I put it to the back of a car, the EUC doesn't self balance anymore. When I turn it on, I have on the screen the text "Please connect to activate". So with the INMOTION app, I tried to connect to the EUC, without success. I tried to turn on and off the EUC multiple time, reinstalling the app, restart my phone, on the original app it doesn't connect at all. So I tried with another app called "EUC word". The app successfully connect to the wheel, however I still have the screen "Please connect to activate" and the wheel doesn't self balance, so it doesn't change the problem. I can just control parameters from the app, but the wheel still doesn't self balance. Can you tell me what can I do to solve this problem please ?

If I were to buy a new V12, is this repair/board swap already done in advance?

Yes, this video is only for people who purchased a V12 before we received the new and improved controllers.

@@eevees thanks! I’ve hear that the v12 has also had some instances in the newer batch of the stem valve getting cut by rough metal in the hole of the wheel where the tube’s stem sticks through. Thoughts?
@eevees2 жыл бұрын
@@jessepope7726 We only had 3 out of 60 with that issue but it can help if you add a layer of old tube between the valve stem so it adds a extra layer so the valve step doesn't stick out as much. The main reason this happens is due to the way InMotion inflated and shipped them.

I get it that I can just watch the unplugging part of the video in reverse, but I'm really bummed that your editor decided to speed up the video during the last part of the controller replugging process. It looked like the tech was still doing a really good job fluently explaining the whole process and it gets cut with some royalty free music and a low quality 4x speed montage to do what exactly? Retain viewership? The average person doing this themself is already gonna watch the video twice anyways to make sure they got it all right, why speed up the video? Lmao I'm mad
