@@Cons2911 For the first wheel I would buy a much smaller wheel like the V8, MSuper V3 or Kingsong 14... It is easier to handle and learn. My first wheel was the V8, perfect size. Then I upgraded to the V10, now I have bought the MSuper V3 S+ . My next wheel will be the RS19 or the Extremebull X-Max. I like that the rim and tire is more visible than with the inmotion wheels.

I really like the modularity and especially the control /power electronics module together with clean cable harnessing. Compared to GW you can see that there are no floating cables that could get cut and shorted or through hole components without adhesive. It also looks like that they have external supplier for their battery packs? What I really dont like is that mechanically its easy to get the wheel off but you need to do quite a lot of disassembling to get to the connector. I hate usage of silicon and wood screws. There are still things to improve but changing tire must be a nightmare only because of the connector.

Could you do a comparison of the ease of maintenance for different EUC makes, looks like the Inmotion is better. Not many places will touch a EUC in the UK and ease of maintenance nay become an issue long-term.

Coming from the mountain biking world, most nice bikes are sold without pedals or with cheap disposable plastic pedals because pedals are personal choices. Would love to see one day EUC pedals get standardized and you can have the same of your favourite pedals on all your wheels

Have you ever tried removing the motor from the rim? I am having the hardest time trying to remove that one screw from the axle, as well as loosening it to remove it. It's way too locked it. Close to bolted.

How hard can it be to do a modification to the rear panel? Drill a bunch of holes in the panel where the rear LEDs are shining through. (it's a $20 piece anyway) If water ingress is a concern, add a thin clear plastic sheet on the inside with glue. Does it work ??

Please forgive me for my ignorance as I have a question. I’m from the New Orleans, Louisiana area, and I have never seen anyone riding one of these. But I think they’re awesome, and I want to get one by Christmas of 2022. I’m a bigger guy, over 200lbs. So, I’ve been looking at newer models with a max capacity of at least 265lbs. I’m hearing of Gotway/Begode battery fires. But I can’t figure out what exactly the issue is with the Inmotion v12. Can someone spell it out for me? That’s the one I have been looking at the most, but I’m also wanting to see what new comes out in 2022.

Maybe the reason for that is the amount of water proofing. It needs to be sealed tightly. You maybe could go under water with the V12 lol.

@@taikaherra8937 Nah, to me it looks like it's probably an artifact of their corporate structure. They must have divided up tasks with one team on each task. As a result, each component has its own casing for example. Having too many screws is a bunch of mechanical complexity for no reason. In the vast majority of cases, you do not want to attach two parts with screws if those two parts could have just been one part.

It doesn't look complex.. it looks repair friendly, especially how it is basically all modular parts which can be replaced and are all accessible via screws.

@@BosonCollider I am also not a mechanical engineer but modularity comes with its benefits. In development you can ensure correct interfaces, focus on your module ensuring its design requirements in closed environment and for repair you can change modules. But it comes with cost of weight I would say. You could compare to GW which has just bunch of components screwed together with harness floating over sharp edges of heat sinks. Thats another extreme.

@@grostire wouldnt be terribly hard... make a panel to access the motor cables and make the slot larger, and another panel on either side to access the screws holding the shell to the pedal arms.... that way you could simply pop open the panels, undo a few screws and drop the motor out... still way more difficult than a bike, but easily doable while out.... im so sick of needing two hours to do a tire change on my wheels lmao

11:50 it isn't more difficult to figure which way to put the wheel back in. You don't need to remember anything. Look at the treat pattern of the wheel, it only goes in one way.

hello bro… i am writing to you hoping for some help from you 😔 i have an inmotion v12 but about 3 weeks ago i had an accident with my wheel and my wheel fell into a pond full of water and was submerged for about 5 minutes (water sweet) I opened it to drain the water and leave it open for about two weeks, today I decided to put it together after two weeks but it doesn't turn on 😔 I think it could be the motherboard, do you have information on where I could get the inmotion v12 motherboard ?? or what you think? do you think it could turn on again? now I am living in denmark… thank you in advance 😔

I disagree with you on the motor wire thickness. There is really no need for the insulation to be much thicker. Just makes it much harder to manage.

I changed the tire today, and everything went smoothly. However, during the test, after reconnecting all the cables and trying to start it, the wheel immediately accelerated to almost 95 km/h. I had the bike on a stand, so the wheel wasn't touching the ground. It was extremely dangerous as it seemed like it wouldn't stop. Then a warning message appeared, and fortunately, it shut off. Now I'm afraid to start it again! What could I have done wrong? All the plugs and cables look perfect...

Joke aside 11:32 battery Model code probably: LX (V12) (88V) ; barcode: serial number ; 24INR22/71-2 is probably battery type and pallet nr. If I counted right it should contain 192 pcs. of 18650(or thicker) cells. I am not familiar with EVE batteries, but I would be safe to assume half the lifetime of an LG/Sanyo-panasonic/samsung cell. I would avoid the HT version as it should wear out the batteries even faster (except if you do competitive off-roading or don't care about your pocket/environment).

It is well made and bad made at the same time, i mean well made for the solidity/rigidity, IP rating, part can be buy and replace separately... but very bad made for parts replacement it is a mess just for the tire. Compagny should find a way to replace those tire in 15min or less like clip in lock with short wires and rubbers around it... Not everyone can replace a tire by themselves so going to a repair center will cost a lots more for this kind of wheel because of the time removing the screws and disassembling everything compared to a RS19 which took me 35min replacing the tire and 40min for my EXN.

the wheel certainly has build qualities but some things are just meh. I have understanding that there is no need to make tire change as convenient as on bike. But having to disassemble whole cable harness and reapply silicon to the connector just for a purpose of change tire? Really? What we need is cosmetic side plastics that would clip on or atleast screw with metric screws. Minimum number of L-hanger screws and a motor connector in close vicinity to axle. That would satisfy me.

Great construction quality no question, Only negative in my view: The Tiny Mosfets which are not used anymore in any perfomance wheel….guess since 2016. Would like to see someone who is 30-35kg more heavy than you, but using it in exactly the same „michael Jackson“ style when accelerating. My guess would be those MOS wouldnt make it that long than and blow, or at least lead to severe overheating. My guess, at least. Mrs Crusher hasnt had that mich luck with her V12 until now….curious to see whats up with it now. Other than that you can see that a real BIG producer is standing behind the V12. The construction and workmanship is overwhelming

the thing with these EUCs is a quality, they are nowhere near as good constructed as Mountain Bikes for example. The engineering, cabling, layout, frame, materials etc... is pretty low level. Definitely need some western companies to start making EUCs.
