Another great video! I have to say, I think there are slightly different use cases for the EXN and V12. There's a lot to be said about how the larger tire gives you a much smoother ride, and manages imperfections in on surfaces much more comfortably. For the speed junkie, the EXN can't be ignored. Same with range! EXN isn't for everyone. As you mentioned, it's probably not the best wheel to have in wet climates! V12 is nimble, playful, and gives you some fun speed to play with too! It's nice to have fun things like lights, and bells and whistles... but the minimalist approach, with a focus mostly on performance, rather than asthetic is totally OK too! :) Thanks for sharing... -EXN Fanboy out! LOL

Thank you so much to leave me this message. A lot to ready but I took the time to do it because I respect all the time you took to share your life with me. I think the exn is a great wheel I got it to use in Portugal is a completely different wheel but think like this if you are happy with the end result using the exn stay with it :) hope it makes sense because the best wheel is theming you have and the exn is a very capable wheel

Good comparison although the V12 and the EXN are totally different wheels. I tried the EXN and really liked it. Has a lot of power and, although it’s heavy, it’s easy to get used to it and like how stable it gets when compared with other wheels. The V12 I’d love to try but no one around here has one and you won’t bring yours here 😢 For range, that’s what I’ll be looking for next year, the V12 is still lacking, even if the battery management is better. Let’s see if V13 goes past 100 km. Thanks for the video, bro 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Hi Marko, tho I've not ridden the V12, I do say I'd have to agree with most of your opinions. For alot of people (esp beginners), the V12 is better & shod with the lastest vizbang euc tech, its def a recco. That said, my EXNs blk mobo with knobby does not seem to have the pedal dipping issue you're experiencing, at least not to me. Infact, I find it to have the least ped dip of all my wheels. Also I get what you're saying from hopping off the much familiar v12 to the EXN. For me, it as an eye opener in that I found it heavy & extra top heavy. It took me 2 weeks to get used to it but strangely, 3mths later I love it. Jumping from the EXN to the S18 made the S18 feel like a very underpowered toy. To me, the EXN is more like an ol school analogue MC. Only changes besides pads & honeycomb peds are tires. There's at least 4 dual sport tire options plus 2-3 'real' MC street tires (ie Michelin/Pirelli/Continental) for handling & speed. For me, that's a game changer to 'tune' my EXN for my particular riding style/needs. The bigger batt also relieves me for range & hi speed cruising anxieties. But for sure, I'd never recco the EXN for newbies.
@MADpack2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this long message bro and makes all the sense. Like the knobby tire of lenda against the cat feels completely different and I prefer the cst. So your exn doesn’t have any pedal dipping?!
@scottsum13192 жыл бұрын
@@MADpack To me, my EXNhs pedal dip is similar to my S18. I run 0° pedal angle in soft mode as I find hard mode to tire out my shins. I started with a TeslaV2 & still ride a MCM5v2 & Mten3 so I know GW ped dip. To me, my EXN dips no where close to those wheels. I'm thinking its likely your early batch EXNht. Anyways if you enjoy the handling of the V12, you should try a tire swap with either a Michelin street pilot or even a Pirelli Angel. I bet it will change the EXN alot & make it feel much lighter. The Michelin is available in my country for ~usd$30 so its worth a shot. I'm more of a dual sport knobby fan & will like try out a Shinko 241 next but for sure, the knobby makes the wheel feel much heavier which requires a different riding technique.
@MADpack2 жыл бұрын
Which pads are you using? For Portugal I definitely prefer the knobby beside that I have review the HS and yes that one have not a lot of pedal dipping

Begode rhymes with "explode". That alone puts the V12 way ahead, regardless of performance or any other consideration. I'd never bring any device home that has known risk of starting a fire. Begode is aware of the issue, and put out a statement recommending not charging inside, and changing out batteries regularly. Yikes. The new Begode LiFePo4 line, safer alternative, is 40% less energy dense. So if you want to compare one relatively safe wheel to another, LiFePo4 Begode vs the V12, then V12 wins hands down. IM level quality of design, build and battery management is, sadly, not in the Begode DNA.

Definitely and we can see with the move on the Ex2 to ex2s with 3600wh a lack of clarity where they want to be in the near future.

V12 is more nimble more portable better constructed better lights and visibility at night is lighter have better speakers better handle. EXN for me is not good wheel at all. Full of holes and fragile shell. V12 is much better. Begode has better wheels. I really like new Begode Hero. Looks like the best Begode wheel so far. Very expensive, but seems like also well built. You should also test Begode T3. For the money it is great value in terms of power, weight and range.
