Chooch , I got the V13. It is my fourth wheel. 12000 miles in two years. KS 16S,S18,&S22. She dumped me off the back in a braking wobble. So I call her brahma. Fully geared up I only bruised my right ass cheek and chipped the back of my helmet. 2nd time out. Always Gear Up! She has taken time to learn, but now we dance. What a beautiful machine!

I took 1year hiatus from esk8 for a fall that broke stuff. Itch got me but I decided to try euc. So, I got a v12-ht and at first (late last year), I didn’t like it. After a couple moths of piddling around, I decided to give it an honest chance. I went to ride with my former esk8 bud who is very experienced at max speed. His level of riding forced me to catch up and it also unlocked that missing ‘thing’ that I hadn’t yet felt with a wheel (compared to boards). Wow, I totally get it now. I started on the v12-ht and after learning the system, I absolutely love it. Point is, I am very very ready to get on a v13!!!

I probably have 2,200 mile on EUC . I went from the v11 to the 13 and i am with you man. I am always seeing 50mph on my wheel every ride. Even when I'm just cruising to the store 2 miles away. It's crazy how smooth and normal it feels to fly on this wheel. I'm using the pilot street 2 also so it's super quiet compared to the stock knobby. I don't even realize how fast I'm going all the time. Great vid always enjoy watching you rip around on it.

Im a tall heavy guy on an OG sherman only 2500w (300 lbs) and it's crazy how natural it feels to get to 40, which it has no problem. can't imagine on a wheel almost twice as powerful and fast. Can't wait to get the v13 😍😍 of course I only get about 30 - 40 miles range, going about 30. Still satisfactory af, only worried about range and overpowering the v13, which is why I was looking at the Master pro

I feel like I'd like to run if for a few weeks before swapping to the Pilot Street 2. With my S22 the stock tire was great for winter riding with the flat profile and all, but you couldn't lean it much at all. Changing to the City Grip 2 turned it into one serious whip. Hoping that's the same here, which I imagine it would be..

@@vikingto yes, i ran the stock knobby for about 300 miles before changing. From what i understand, it needs a little time to break in before it stops "tracking". However the pilot 2 has been great everywhere, even off road and much quieter. My only bane is mud but I'm ok with that.

Can you hear the beeps at 50 mph? I'm a rookie rider and I broke my shoulder cutting out a 84v msx in March. Got the v13 bc I want the "no cutout" wheel. I've hit 38 mph on the v13, same speed I broke my shoulder, but at that point I can feel the stability begin to weaken as I am on my tip toes

What's your view on braking? I like the stability of a larger wheel but emergency braking scares me. Also it takes more time to do emergency maneuvers. For dense city riding I lean towards 16in for safety in close proximit y to other vehicles.

Would love more focus on this. On bikes I would lift my rear wheel off the ground on a panic brake, but on an EUC the best you can do is jump to another path or maybe crash in a good place because you don't really have brakes.

The v13 can stop faster than a bicycle with 2 brakes. It's been proven, evees I think did it if I'm not mistaken. Getting to the brakes fast on an euc however doesn't happen . The v13 has great handle in front to grab and lean as far as you want back.

I ride 16 and 18 in regularly. All my closest calls have all been on the 18in. I'm mostly concerned with the reaction time. Not primarily the time for 50-0. How long does it take, and with how much rider input, to initiate X brake force? If the brake force comes late, then the rider tends to choose to maneuver through situations rather than brake. With a fast 16in you can do both IMO. I'd love to hear your views. (I know that we're not supposed to even get into such situations. Defensive riding is always the best tactic. But assuming that we already are, and a freak situation occurs where you have no choice. Which wheel would you rather be on?)

The speed limit for v13 inmotion is 60 km/h. It comes out in 90 km in the specifications. I put the limit at 60. I would like to know how to change the limit to 90.

How do you keep from tilting to the right or left when you first learn? Im having a hard time keeping balanced & upright and not tilting into uncontrolled turns & inevitably having to bail. as hard as you can lean back. This will 50 mph in reverse, so as quickly as the skill level can attain. We are no longer limited by the machines it took years to get to this point with these, back in 2015 I would burn motherboards in these weekly. Now they are crazy powerful and almost indestructible.

@@choochtech I own a RS19, s18, mten4 & now I just got the V13. I bought the Clark bio pads just like you, I love the v13, while i only have about 200 miles on it, I love riding it and feel crazy stable 35mph and below, but for some reason when I get about 35-50mph range I’ll occasionally get crazy high speed wobbles, I try to always stay in a carve, I actually got high speed wobbles in a turn the other day at 45mph so bad it knock my leg out of the power pad & peg and I took the corner on one leg 😳 luckily regain control and got it to stop before I ended up in the guardrail. I can get out of the high speed wobbles and tryin to adjust to it, but while I no longer fear cut outs now, I fear speed wobbles. I hoping over time I will get it under control. Didn’t know if you had experienced anything similar or had any advice? I run 42psi tire pressure n 180 psi in both shocks on a 3rd batch v13, last do you think a street tire would help avoid high speed wobbles?

This was my first unicycle and I have really thrashed this thing for the past eight months or so and it has stood up very well. The only thing that has broken are the plastic pedals, they take a beating as you learn to ride, but an upgrade to metal pedals is fairly inexpensive and pretty necessary for most any unicycle. I have since acquired a 36 inch Coker for commuting and having ridden that I realized that the saddle on this unicycle can be a bit uncomfortable after a few hours riding, but still it is a great unicycle to start out on.

It's free spin is 88mph and they showed an unlocked version on a stationary dyno type machine and the guy hit 70 then overleaned it to show how easy it would be at that speed. wind drag would probably keep you around 65mph before overleaning it.

I love the leeway this wheel has in terms of motor power to comfortably go 50 - 55 constantly, not that much slower than most car's interstate top speeds, and faster than cars in cities.

...half motorcycles? if you think about it they're smaller but technically wider and way heavier than most escooters and ebikes (this model is 115, but 1/3 the length of a 15 lb road bike.) faster than pretty much any ebike, despite having only one wheel. and surrons (~65 - 70 mph) are beat now that the master pro v3, et max, and commander gt pro are out, all of which can go 66 - 90 mph. the v13 also had a "fancy mode" that unlocked it to 63 mph, but it's not recommended and you have to sign a waiver.

I know what you mean, but I also know, because I have a 360 camera, that the wider the angle you use, the faster it looks. I was watching footage of myself riding on the street doing 15 mph, and widening my FOV just a little bit made it look like I was going WAY faster. IMO, I don't think chooch would put himself or anyone else in situation where he couldn't react in time. I also ride fast, but I'm also respectful and considerate of others, and I feel like chooch is the same in that regard. CLEARLY more skilled than me also.
