Rahul, l listen to this song almost every day sung by different singers. All versions are really good. One thing for sure - listening to you, I get emotional n shed tears. I feel I am talking to Lord Ram. Btw, Sri Rama Navami is my favorite festival because of kosambri, Panaka and neer majjige! Good for summer! Ramayana is all too familiar to everyone of us. When was the very first time we all heard the story of Ramyana? Probably sitting on our grandparents laps as babies while they fed us with food, I guess! Later, we read it as we grew up. We watched Ramanand Sagar's on TV some dcades ago. We watched it all over again during lockdown period. Currently, I am reading Ramayana authored by BHAKTI VIKASA SWAMY. We never get bored with repeated reading/watching or listening to the epics. That's the power of epics of Sanatana dharma. Songs by you or Surya Gayatri or Uttara Unnikrishnan put us in a trance. Thank you children. Child indeed is the father of man!
