The idea of the song is how people are treated differently depending on how they die. Chop Suey is a double meaning. It was their way to pass off the suicide name originally to satisfy the record label. Its also a Chinese dish, I'm not sure if you remember them eatting Chinese Takeout at one small point in the video.

I have two things to say. First, am I seeing the time of upload correctly? How did you not know of this song before, it's a gold classic. Second, this song is fantastic and I loved it back in the day, listened to it on repeat. What the moral of this taught me back then is... well. Surprising I'm sure. "Every aspect of life is hilarious. You don't exist, now you do; that's funny as hell. You had no say in the matter, now you have anxiety." - Takahata101 Articulates perfectly what life is and what this song tries to relay. Heavy lyrics that at the end of the day just exist to entertain, no matter the theme.

I think Serj (vocals) said the lyrics on 'Chopsuey!' ... was a weird take on the execution of Jesus Christ and his final moments... The song itself is like a structural reference to Chinese noodles - a dish of twists and turns... 😂
