Wrapping up the innate immune system we have one more cell type to examine, and that is innate lymphoid cells. These are a family of lymphocytes that are considered to be the innate counterparts of T cells from the adaptive immunity, even sharing some tasks with them. How do they develop, how are they categorized, and what are their functions? Let's find out!

It's indeed as you mentioned last, about how astonishing and more complex for the adaptive immunity is going to be. I've read one of the oldest edition of 'Molecular Biology of the Cell' and i was perplexed by the complexity by which B cells mounts a highly specific immune response and its capability of producing an outstanding 2000 antibodies per second per cell 😳
