"Inner Engineering Through Vivekananda" - Dr Pranav Pandya, IIT Kanpur

To commemorate the 153rd birth anniversary of revered Swami Vivekananda,
the Vivekananda Samiti, a student body under Students' Gymkhana, IIT
Kanpur is organizing Vivekananda Youth Leadership Convention, during
11-12th January 2016.
The Convention aims to spread Swami Vivekananda’s inspirational message of
inner awakening, human excellence and the spirit of serving the mankind,
among the youth of India. With the focus on leadership, social awareness,
and youth empowerment, the Convention features two inspirational talks.

About the speaker:
Dr.Pranav Pandya is the Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidhyalaya,
Haridwar and Head of the All World Gayatri Pariwar. He is a world-renowned
of an authority on Indian culture. He has initiated path-breaking
studies on Ayurveda, Psychology, Yagyopathy and therapeutic benefits of
Meditation and Pranayam. Dr. Pandya has received many honours. In
particular, he has been honoured by NASA as a distinguished scientist and
reformer for worldwide dissemination of scientific aspects of Indian
Culture. Dr. Pandya has delivered many lectures both in India and abroad.
He has presented a lecture on the scientific aspects of Indian Culture at
the World Parliament of Religions held in Chicago in 1993 and in Cape Town
in 1999. He has also addressed a joint session of the House of Lords and
the House of Commons in London in 1992. Furthermore, he has given lectures
at many academic institutions, such as Cambridge University, Oxford
University, Harvard University.
