I took guitar lessons from Steve Erquiaga! Cool to see him jam on Joe's tune with the man himself, with all of his hair!

Joe slaying as usual!!!!! Love hearing Joe play with great guitarists, his playing on So Near So Far with John Scofield is some of my favorite saxophone playing of the 90’s!

As far as I'm concerned, Joe Henderson and Joe Farrell ruled the world after Coltrane and before Brecker. You can always expect quality from those guys.

Unbelievable!! I had to open an account just to get my two cents worth in. Are there more Steve CD's other than the two I've come accross? With classical and jazz he has got to have more!

That chord progression was created to be a challenge; both Joe and Steve Erquiaga are playing repetitive figures, as the harmonic movement is limited. I can see your point that it's okay-ish (not my favorite tune for soloing); I can tell you that Joe Henderson is a fantastic musician; I love his playing. Check out "Joshua" with Scofield.

mmm, seems that the last eight chords are a bit to much for the guitarist...
