Mi amigo Pedro, it was much more than that. That occasion marked the 1st time in over 20 years since the James Bond golden era that Sean Connery appeared at the Oscars. His career had met a dead end and seemed to go nowhere when he abandoned 007, work in the movies became scarce because he was so associated with that role no one imagined him doing anything else, he lived the tough times actors unable to escape typecasting have to endure. But his talent and perseverance paid off and in 1987 he was for the 1st and still the only time nominated for an Academy Award, which he won minutes after that triumphant entrance shown in the video, for his 1-derful performance as an Irish policeman in The Untouchables. Denzel Washington was also up for Best Supporting Actor that year. He said that he knew after seeing Sean's ovation for just presenting an award that neither he [Denzel] or any of the other nominees were going to win that night.

@@savedfaves Chaplin's was almost unnoticed, he emerged quietly from the wings after the clips of his movies but received the longest standing ovation in Oscar's history. Roberto walking over the seats was a riot !!! 😆

The real strenght in Innerspace special effects are the human body transformations, people tend to remember only the well...innerspace scenes and to forget how absolutelly incredible those are. Besides Predator was a huge sucess that still holds to this day. I really like Predator special effects and I´m a fan of the movie but we have to be fair...Innerspace deserved to win.

I wish i would have an reality that is only basing on visual Effekts, but there seems to be a little bit more trouble inside and in some scences, that were not played by you ,the visual effekts in some Films although seem to have a very danger reality or the artists did not recognized with whom they work together.i am sure not all equipments can be proofed , since i know how the sadest deal wheapons while apetransportations to ordiances that seem to be normal.....to have.....brainwashed daughters....maybee some of us never knew....how much reality can be in some Films or other ordiances....
