I saw Luigi with John many times..My favorite Thunders band..In 1980 they played at Scorgies in Rochester , NY , my band opened , anyhow ,Luigi and Thunders had large hunting knifes on their belts ! ,,I never saw that before from a rcok band . One 30 minute set , GREAT !!

I remember watching the Knots....Maxes and it's a nothing crowd...an Jerry Nolan is spying you guys from the cigarette machine.......he prolly tipped Johnny off about you, I saw The Knots once, and thought; " This guy should be w Johnny."....lt just made sense.
