Just purchased this yesterday. Appreciate your quick breakdown. App combo is very helpful with showing code description, part replacement estimates, service reminders, forumfor popular threads based on VIN, freeze frame results depending on the code thrown. Not bad for $60 here in Cali. Might pay for the next version upgrade for live data.

Yellow initially with no code, what happened in a Toyota Corolla, might mean nothing wrong....assuming (no check engine light either), and with a retry the same thing...thanks very much for the great video.

Yellow means can prolly pass emissions but may need some work red won’t pass and greens is good

Having the same issue with a 2015 corolla. Car cranks but wont start. And I get no error code but the yellow lights remains

if the scanner is showing only an EVAP and all of the codes are all solid not blinking related to the EVAP your good in Ca. and you're going to be taking your car in for smog remember there a run cycle test that will check all your evap systems.so if you erase the EVAP it's possible that you're going to erase everything in sequence on the computer related to the EVAP. this means you're going to have to run your car again for certain amount of Miles doing certain types of stopping and going in traffic and spend money on gas to get your computer recalibrate the codes. This calibration only can be done by running your car. remember a check engine light will guarantee you not to pass smog. an incomplete system check will also make you not pass smog. so make sure you don't delete everything that has been initialized as good by accident. and don't learn the hard way like I did.

I think this tool sucks compared to one I bought from harbor freight this one don't tell you the codes description on the same device wtf a app to find out might as well be doing it obd 1 way count the number of blinks
