The scan tools currently go up to 2022. There will be a free update released in the summer to bring them up to 2023. You can still read and erase check engine codes in vehicles up to 2024 by selecting the 2022 year model of that vehicle. Check engine codes will be the same. You won't be able to use the advanced features for 2023 or newer vehicles until the update is released. Our updates are always free and typically 1-2 years behind the current year due to vehicles covered under factory warranty.

No, the 5410 will not do DPF regen. The 5610 handheld is the only model that supports DPF regen for most 96 and newer OBD2 certified diesel vehicles.

All of our handheld models power on and link to the PCM through the vehicle's accessory fuses. They never need to be charged or need batteries to work with 96 and newer OBD2 certified vehicles. Our 5410, 510, 5512, and 5610 have an option for AA batteries. These are only needed for two things: 1. Reading OBD1 vehicles (You need to have the OBD1 extension cable and applicable OBD1adapter). The 5512 comes bundled with the OBD1 adapter kit which is the same tool as the 5510. 2. If you want to look at the last 3 vehicles scanned. All these models hold up to 3 vehicles in memory until a new vehicle is scanned, which knocks out the oldest vehicle stored in memory

The 5610 has all the features the 6030p, 6100p, and 6200p have, and the 5610 is a bi-directional/relearning tool with OEM Live Data for PCM, TCM, ABS, SRS, and TPMS.

Which of these will work on a Mercruiser 5.7 liter marine engine? Also will these work with Apple computers?

Our scan tools will not work properly with a Mercruiser 5.7L marine engine. The reason why is because auto engines have different OBD2 standards than marine engines. Some of the communication protocols will not be the same. Our tools may be able to read some codes, but more than likely give wrong definitions for codes and incorrect codes as well. Also, high performance marine engines are highly modified auto engines. Our tools will not communicate with the PCM/ECU if an engine has been modified passed the point of federal regulations. Parts like freeze out plugs, carbs, alternator, starter are different. The block are usually the same. However, normally the crankshaft/camshaft are different to provide the proper torque at normal cruising RPM.

In the U.S., Toyota offers other SUV models, such as the Toyota 4Runner, which is somewhat similar in terms of rugged off-road capability and size, but with a slightly different design and features compared to the Prado. I bought the Innova 5610 V2 at O’Reilly’s on 9-23-2024 $309.99 Plus tax $333.24 It was the cheapest I could find in the St. Louis area. So far it seems to be a very nice scanner. The first one I bought was a 5610 and looked to be used so I took it back It only came with the cord to hook it up to the car and a 4 page instructions. They ordered another scanner for me because they didn’t have anymore the next day they had another it looked like the same model on the box a 5610 but when I opened it the scanner was a 5610 V2 and it came with a case, two cords one for the car and one for a computer for up dates, it also came with a nice rubber glove to put the scanner in for protection it also had a 121 page manual so I assume the version V2 comes with the extra stuff that in my opinion should come with any scanner. This scanner seems to be very nice I have used it several times now I just have to learn more about how to use it better. Read, read, read!!! I also down loaded the App on to my IPhone 14 Pro RepairSolutions2 and that works good also when it connects with the scanner by blue tooth.
