Just curious, why did they do away with the old zipper-less style? Zippers seem to be the first point of failure on most kill bags. The roll-shut style was the reason I was looking at Deckhand originally.

So the new generation of Deckhand bags utilize corrosive-resistant heavy-duty YKK resin teeth zippers. These are incredibly strong and additionally the clip straps on the top of the bag make it easier to shut the bag when it's full.
