Just installed these on my ep3 (ukdm rhd) and yes they do vibrate, a fair bit too but keeps engine solid and defiantly better than old oem but as a daily I don’t think I’d recommend them and I’ll now be ordering the complete mugen set from torque gt here in the uk. DON'T just put the bare jack under on the oil pan. Use a phone book or something in between the pan and jack so you don't dent it or puncture it.

Thank you for your input, that's a very common practice, which I would recommend to anyone doing it for the first time. I've personally done this more than you can ever imagine. I'm not setting the jack dead center in the oil pan. I'm using the transmission casing as well as the corners where there's structural rigidity. You're only supporting the engine, one mount at a time where the weight is distributed evently. I'm more than comfortable doing it this way like I have for the past 8 years.

Nice videos. I also follow you on Insta. Rear motor mount is for sure the hardest to do imo, followed by the front (or the driver side - - - which has its own challenge as far as aligning the bolts go). I've done all the mounts my own hard mode style on my street - no garage. Definitely some blood and sweat involved.

Where did you mount the ground wire that was on the passenger side mount ? I saw you had it connected to the abs bracket. But is there anywhere else more tucked away ?

I removed that and grounded the engine on the transmission side.

Do you have the tighten the middle nut on motor mount on the timing cover side?

I noticed you did not show the 3rd bolt removal fro the second mount. This proved to be the toughest bolt to remove. We had to remove the splash guards, filter assembly, battery plate and a few other things in order to get the bolt started. Also the back mount replacement was not shown at all.

My car is not stock so I don't have the filter assembly. I wouldn't show you every single step otherwise the video would be 50 mins long. only the important ones make the episode. If someone really needs to be shown how to remove the battery tray. You should not be attempting this Installation period. Btw You do not need to remove the splash guard at all. I don't see how that would help. Maybe next time you can just make your own video 👌🏻 Thank you for your amazing support! Have a great day.

Take out the rear bracket or loosen it to have more wiggle room. Or use the jack to lift the rear end of the engine until it lines up. It's not a easy job.

Just support the motor on each corner you’ll be working. Example remove the passenger mount, support it, replace. Move to the next one

Bushing color doesn't change the quality of the product. Choose based on your theme you want to go with. 👍🏻 I personally like Red as it stands out nicely.

No, what’s important is making sure the engine doesn’t move around. That way you can line it up properly

Help please. The threaded bolt that sticks out at 8:30 that youre giving tips about broke on my rsx. Does it just screw out? I need to replace that, and im considering using 2 matching bolts like you. After i can get that one out somehow. Thanks in advanced...

Yes, it does come out like a regular bolt. If you still have thread left, you probably can back it out. If you can't. Just buy that base the bolts go into. Just remember to cut the unthreaded part off the bolt if you're doing this mod. Good luck.

Yes that sounds right. Once you get to it you’ll see where everything Belongs because of the bolt lengths.

Just unbolt the mount bracket from the trans ,no need to unbolt ur header and risk an exhaust leak happening after reinstalling

To air gun? It's just a cheap option from harbor freight it gets the job done pretty good. Battery drill I use a DeWalt 18v. 👍🏻

Well that depends how strong you are lol you can get it done with basic tools, just need a breaker bar.

Of course, any racing mounts will introduce vibrations. How much vibrations would it introduce? Far less than any higher rated mount.

@@quicknthievious7187 They are great mounts, these are race motor mounts so i dont mind the extra vibrations associated with it. perfect to get rid of wheel hop and put the power down, more throttle response as well, too many pros to list. I think you'll like them
