The only option i face is trying to find a choice of E-Hardtails, as a non full suss rider, i would love one of these shows to be able to show us what is available in the Hardtail format, (Personally i can't stand or get on will full suss bikes), so it would be nice to have a selection of E-Hardtails to see what is available.

Check out Whyte's e505. Great spec and a proper mountain bike with the right geometry. Love mine. Only downside is it's a bit hefty.

Big bruisers everywhere! Where are the lighter trail ebikes?? Fazua 60 was interesting, but no frame to go with it? Lapierre?

I like the idea of the Rohloff hub - I'm fed up with how quickly expensive 12sp components wear out.

I love my Rohlof/ Bosch/ Gates drive. Almost 7K miles on the original belt and just an occasional oil change for the tranny. No fuss, no muss.

@@steelframe Thanks for the encouraging reply. I've a Giant Trance E - arranging to get it measured up for Rolhof but will probably have to stick with a chain, but that should be a robust (and cheaper) 7/8 spd.

6:10 the Scott PATRON 10:20 seems to have a variant of the "mythic" mount option already integrated in the cockpit. Admittably the position on the Radon seems better suited for display protection.

As an xs rider, there isn't a ton of lightweight and great out there. The Orbea rise is wonderful, yet still a bit too big. We need to be seen too. I have also tried the Santa Cruz and it's also an almost for fit. I am so glad to see that the technology is improving and soon hopefully, the smaller riders will have "Real" bikes too. How about Pivot? Thanks for the great review.

I have yet to run through the 630w battery on my bike, I typically mix Tour and Eco on the Bosch system my bike employs. Turbo is typically not necessary for my riding style, at least not currently.

I appreciate the effort Maxis put in to gain their market position and don't doubt that they deserve it. But I've never ridden an Italian tire that I didn't think was far superior to the Maxis offerings on my EMTB. Also, I prefer to get my espresso shots from the Marzocchi Girls. They still around?

Can you tell me the extent of the issues? Since I was considering one too
@islandaerial34142 жыл бұрын
@@LastAphelion Just go to my channel. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my eMTB but, I ride it so much that ALL of the parts wear much quicker and, some of the parts are expensive and time consuming to replace. Most of it can be done DIY if you are somewhat mechanically inclined with some useful tools Currently my bike is torn apart for a fork service, air can service, pivot bearing check, replace worn shifter cable and housing, brake bleed and pad replacement. Oh and tire change for the 'dry' season. I'll make another short video soon.

Linkglide drivetrain? Almost impossible getting a 12 speed microspline 32 hole centre lock hub. DT Swiss is selling a eMTB wheel set HU 1900 with a 370 hub lol. End up getting a 240 EXP which is not a hybrid ( microspline) but more durable which offers wider bearing spacing. What a mission my rear shimano rotor is a CL with a magnet. Shimano does not make a 6 bolt rotor or an adapter.

Will never understand why most manufacturers put either the motor or battery in the firing line of rocks and logs or anything else you might bash into whilst riding? Without what most would consider decent protection.

Can you jump the new spectral ON? Canyons strength rating for this bike confuses me. Is it an enduro bike?
@DWillis72 жыл бұрын
The Spectral is All Mountain, bordering on Enduro (if I had to give it a category). I would have no issues jumping one if I had the Spectral ON. I have a Torque ON currently and absolutely send that and it's never missed a beat.

Users don't want a bike that's heavy and unique. We just want a simple, light, problem-free, cheap E bike. I believe that I want a E bike that can essentially focus only on riding rather than hiding various cables and putting in the frame. You should consider whether the reason for hiding the battery of an electric bicycle is design requirements or merit. I ask various makers to waste my money and time with wasteful designs that are heavier than the same capacity and require more time to attach and detach than the E8010 battery what will be really important for riding.

Seriously disappointed with some of the companies selling off their bosch cx lines and 650watt batteries in supposed 2022 models, i bought the Whyte e-150rs v2 2022 in July last year.....for 6K, they have gone up in price to 6.5k.....but on the forums and social media pages people are selling them off at 4.5k with only 100miles on them and not a scratch......no doubt anticipating the release of the new bikes with the bigger batteries and updated bosch systems......poor show by bosch not allowing the previous generation to be updated to the new tech or coming up with some plan to bring along the bikes bought last year to the new spec, and poor show by Whyte if they knew the bigger batteries were coming down the line not to engineer that into the current 650watt bikes. Boils my piss. So the next time round i wont be buying a whyte or anything with a bosch motor in it because they have literally just thrown all their recent customers under the proverbial bus.

Any electric bike with less 1000w of power is nothing to showcase. 1000w is the minimum so when you are talking about 900w when jeep and other bikes are at 1500w, some pushing 2000w. That’s when I know that you’re in the minor league
