Inquest: An Examination of Central Health

Travis County’s funding of healthcare for the poor is the subject of “Inquest: An Examination of Central Health.” Public record documents and interviews with figures involved provide the basis for the film, which asks whether Central Health, Travis County’s Hospital District for the poor, misappropriated funds constitutionally mandated for healthcare for the indigent. Interview participants include Gonzalo Barrientos, Rebecca Birch, Richard Franklin III, Fred Lewis, Bob Ozer and Nelson Linder. The film was directed and edited by Clio™ Award winning director and independent filmmaker Steve Mims. Produced by Fred Lewis, Steve Mims, and Brian Rodgers.
