Don't know why but I can picture for Veilguard a duet between Solas and the (ex)Inquisitor. The song Innocence by Nathan Wagner always seems to pop into my head especially for the Solavellen romance.

@@Badwolf_82 I'm glad you enjoyed my compilation. Yes, Solas is complex, keeps many secrets, and carries a heavy burden. He is both hero and villain archetypes, fallen hero, but also a mix of the two others. It's hard to ignore the evil he might do when wanting to support him, but hard to ignore the good he wishes to do when kooking at the bad that is all around. I just wish he'd been more honest from the start. Then again, he comes from a time when people lied and betrayed each other, and to save his people, he too had to lie and betray. Trusting friends, even Varric, even the Inquisitor, is difficult, and even with trust, opening up and being vulnerable is a challenge. So Solas keeps his cards close to his chest.

@@DarthShadie This is why I couldn't trust him: there was something going on, but I couldn't figure it out what it was exactly... And I didn't like it. He should have been forthcoming with his actions. Thank God I was romancing Cullen, I would have not survived the betrayal. I hope this time would be different, I think we worked hard for his trust. And I would definitely not forgive another betrayal (or LUCANIS', PLEASE NO LUCANIS, my heart is fragile XD).

OMG My poor heart too. 😅 The feeling I get is Lucanis's situation is more nuanced. So perhaps he does not betray us. I hope, as lame as it is, that all companions if we are jerks with them can betray us and if we are kind, none betray us. It's lame but safe.

1 hour? 🤣 Try like 5. In Inquisition, I'd spend 2 hours in there. Now we have to create 2 characters. I will try not to spend the entire day in there.

The Inquisitor helping Solas, but the anchor destabilizing and causing the ritual to fail and the evanuris to be freed, that would have been better than Rook pushing a statue over.

@@BelieveIt1051 Yes, I agree. The Inquisitor appearing in that scene and then going off to find whatever, returning to find Solas again... Would have been impactful. Dialogue could have been determined by choices we input at the start of DAV.
