Late to the party dude.... I built one with 2 x 10,000 Crystalyte hub motors over 10 years ago.... I still ride a 2 wheel drive ebike... but now the Rambo bike trailer has 2 x 1500 watt motors as well.... I used a Strong GT-S210 frame, Canadian tire used to sell them.... Samsung 40T cells 5s/13p 48V - 20 amp hours can discharge at 175 amps.... Daly BMS 35 amps per cell and I have 2 of those in my current ride, built on frame similar to Stealth Bomber, bike trailer carries another 60 amp hours built out of 18650 cells. Solar recharging... brake lights, headlights, turn signals....

nice, I don't like the way you mounted the rear suspension though, the bar at the bottom of the swing arm will constantly try to snap off while under load leading to a catastrophic failure
@rondg2
@rondg2 4 жыл бұрын
yeah great build except for that rear swingarm. that bar at the bottom could've been stronger if he welded it on top, that way the shock would be pushing it instead of pulling against the welds, but even that wouldn't be really structurally sound. also the triangulation of the swingarm is all wrong. the shock mount should be at the top of the triangle in order to get the strength from that shape
@sheanyquist
@sheanyquist 4 жыл бұрын
If I welded the shock on top, the shock would have been either sticking up through the seat into your butt or at a completely unusable angle.
@rondg2

We are always looking for places to give our money too for holding drone racing events. Give me 3 days and I'll have you flying like a pro! I also took my new build for a test drive and a speed run. So far managed to hit 144 km/h with throttle left but got scared to give it more throttle as it's a rigid beach cruiser type frame lol. The second run hit 154km/h I really got nervous as I'm used to full suspension bikes. I have video proof BTW just don't want no drama on my KZbin channel from the KZbin Safety squad lol.
