Finally at least somebody uses the real benefit of motor wheels. Most of manufacturers put the transmission and other sheet which is complete nonsense when you build an electric vehicle. motorwheels are the future of an industry... Cheers!

Late to the party dude.... I built one with 2 x 10,000 Crystalyte hub motors over 10 years ago.... I still ride a 2 wheel drive ebike... but now the Rambo bike trailer has 2 x 1500 watt motors as well.... I used a Strong GT-S210 frame, Canadian tire used to sell them.... Samsung 40T cells 5s/13p 48V - 20 amp hours can discharge at 175 amps.... Daly BMS 35 amps per cell and I have 2 of those in my current ride, built on frame similar to Stealth Bomber, bike trailer carries another 60 amp hours built out of 18650 cells. Solar recharging... brake lights, headlights, turn signals....

nice, I don't like the way you mounted the rear suspension though, the bar at the bottom of the swing arm will constantly try to snap off while under load leading to a catastrophic failure

yeah great build except for that rear swingarm. that bar at the bottom could've been stronger if he welded it on top, that way the shock would be pushing it instead of pulling against the welds, but even that wouldn't be really structurally sound. also the triangulation of the swingarm is all wrong. the shock mount should be at the top of the triangle in order to get the strength from that shape

If I welded the shock on top, the shock would have been either sticking up through the seat into your butt or at a completely unusable angle.

Nice Job man. Hey if you take a mallet and a heat gun to the vinyl on the seat it should tighten up and the folds will disappear. If you didn't already know that. Is that a custom made battery or can you buy off the shelf ?

How did you install the front motor hub in a motorcycle front fork? The hub motor shaft is designed for bicycle dropout.

I welded a collar over the axle and made a little torque arm that bolted into the slot where the pinch clamps are. Made the hub unserviceable, but these motors are pretty bullet proof

I bet they'd even get rid of the chain and sprocket if that was the case and just use a pedal sensor to engage/disengage the motor.
