I am trying to upgrade my talking head videos. I am using a zv1 with a elgato cam link into my pc. Should I upgrade my camera. I am using OBS and zoom. I like recording my camera into my pc but am I loosing quality vs recording my camera into the computer or should I save it on the memory card and then import it.

I'm still hesitant, not sure if this one or the AVerMedia PW515, OBSBOT Tiny 2 Lite 4K, Logitech Brio 4K, Insta360 Link or OBSBOT Meet 2.. Can you help me out? I'm recording Pokémon Card opening videos and I'm using my iPhone 16 Pro max as the camera that points at me, that one is perfect! My upper view angle, is an old Samsung S21 but it's overheating and it cannot record for more than 15min lol. So, I'm looking for a webcam to record from above. My other "issue", that is more like a let's save some editing time haha. Is that currently I need to load 2 separated videos and sync them manually to match the voice and video. This is taking more time, more space and for my first streamings, this won't work. So I need to figure out which webcam to buy to just record with OBS and have 1 video file to edit.

I think if you cares about secure and privacy, you would probably skip "obsbot" and "insta360", these brands are from china and have weird policies also have concern to collect personal information. instead, choose logitech, elgato, avermedia... etc. if you're not afraid about it, those china brands are doing the best on webcams.

The box and hardware said 515. Maybe I missed something? They have both the 513 and 515. One has less features and cheaper. Thanks for the love!

​@@DarkenedCyrus....it is the PW515...the PW513 comes in a coloured box & does not have the vents on the web cam like the PW515...plus Cam Engine says PW515.. PW513 does not have manual focus, auto only... the PW515 is a better camera than the PW513... this is definately the PW515, i have one of these...

I have the 515. I like how it has 35 degrees of zoom to adjust the field of view.

I'm not sure if I'm seeing 60 fps happening here in the YT video, I definitely put my stream quality on the highest at 60fps, and your opening cuts with the more expensive camera are definitely playing at 60fps or so here on YT. However, whenever you are demonstrating the 1080p 60fps webcam footage it really doesn't look like it's doing 60fps at all, at least in this video. I'm not sure whether the particular editing of your video is to blame for that or if the camera is simply not doing 60fps.

You should get a USB-A to USB-C adaptor in the box... other reviewers have had an adaptor in their PW515 box.
