I got my bands. Bands + my power rack + my flat bench to shoulder press seat = get me through the lockdowns. I started doing some of the band exercises that you suggested. Thanks for the workouts.

Combined the banded bent over row with a broomhandle. The most intense contraction I've had with my back in a loong time. Great series John, keep 'em coming!

Can’t wait for my buddy 1200 miles away and I to do this exact workout later on today while FaceTiming! My friend and I really appreciate you John and especially during this crazy time. This just fantastic. I am really enjoying seeing the benefits and challenges of resistance bands. They are no joke if you take advantage of their advantages like you are showing us. And the yo-yo is always a treat! For me, one arm bent over rows provide the most burn. Doing this routine tonight! Thank you John and your family for putting yourselves out there. Really special.

I absolutely love this workout! I did 4 of the exercises in my pull workouts today and I had one of the best sessions ive ever had....and it was AT HOME! Snapped my tube style handled resistance band last night doing rows. I guess I'm lucky it just bruised my knuckles instead of taking out an eye. It's amazing how much I relied on that single band for. Now I've had to remove 5 vital movements (all back or triceps) from my workouts.

This is a great information! I get a whole lot of new ideas, how to train with resistband. That hammer curl invention is a.w.e.s.o.m.e! I'm gonna test some new ideas, like standing on my knees, band going under me, and doing shoulders, with band tight around my elbows! Thank you very much from this!

since you can have serious to light resistance with bands and there really is no limit to exercises,its all in the way you use them as far as muscle gains imo... they are the real deal....

I’ve been doing the Meadows band workouts at home and WOW. If ya keep the band tension and really focus it’s a heck of a workout. Never thought I’d get sore “just using bands.” Great stuff. Thank you for keeping us going on these times!!

I love these banded workouts. My issue is that I don't have anything I can loop/tie the bands around for some of these exercises as when I tried to use the doors I almost pulled them outta the hinges. Is there anyway to do the exercises that require looping/tying the bands to something in another way & still get the same intensity? Thanks John for your assistance.

My dad has an old bowflex that was *QUITE DUSTY* but actually made for a good workout. I had to make some adjustments for it, but it very similar to using bands. I am trying to order some from Elite, but they are sold out. I will try again.

Most of my band work outs are in the hallway upstairs in this town house. It's the only room and my bands have door ankers. I got 4 ten pound weights from Walmart where I work shelves are empty. Close the gyms and people are scrambling for stuff. 29th my 80 pound dumbbells show up. manards for scrap wood to make a low to the ground bench that opens for incline. I can stand the box up when not useing. If we ever get back to normal little dude is going to win first prize in yo yo contest their is money in it at the national and world level and that's a good thing 😀😀😀

There's always eBay. I Just bought some vinyl weight plates. They have used equipment. And you buy it,you don't have to go out!! It gets mailed!

Yeah but the sellers on eBay are marking up gym equipment by A LOT, because they know the demand is high. It’s convenient to just order them but you’ll def be paying a hefty price.

Do you think I should lower volume, for some odd reason I have problems finishing my pull, push, legs banded workouts. When I get to the arms I already feel spent and have trouble finishing them with the same intensity. The bands definitely aren't as heavy, but they kinda hit hard

I got my bands today. By the way you can do close grip Brandon curry pulldowns on that basketball stand like you did the pulldowns. I superheated them. That band set is no joke. I kind of wish I bought a few heavier ones to.

I personally am but I'm using a bit less. If you feel like you need energy to get through the workout just take less than what you normally do, like a half scoop or 3/4ths scoop.

You don't need pre-workout if you're diet is spot on.

@@housinauthority5258 That's a very broad statement. What do you mean by spot on? If you're dieting aka are in calorie deficit you might need some boost especially if you're not just laying on the couch for most of the day. When I wake up at 6 am do 50 mins of stationary bike and then work for 9- 10 hrs straight with minimal breaks and homeschool my kid later on - I will certainly need some preworkout before training in the evening- especially if the calories are low.

I've got 2 little girls, ages 5 & 3, and they are Mary's biggest fans. They don't care much for letting me watch my training videos, but they both always say, "daddy, put on one where the girl does the exercises!" "Do you mean Mary?" "YA, let's watch MARY do it!" haha. So tell your wife that there are 2 little sisters in western PA who are President and VP of her fanclub. :)
