Even Yugi didn't play a dark magician deck in the show. If he were to have a modern deck it'd prolly have some branded cards, some chimeras, some runicks and maybe even stuff like tenyis for the normal monster support; also soldier of chaos is kind of a yugi card too...

Hi Zephyr! Well done, nice deck and thanks for posting one of my favorite decks ever. In your opinion, given the problems DM has how should it come out to make it really competitive in the next meta? (whatever it is hahah) Harmonic synchro fusion I think it's a good card to put in DM. It would allow you to summon baronne and dragoon in the same turn. What's your pov?

Glad you like it. Synchro fusion is kwl its just getting to a level 3 dragon tuner. I think the deck either needs a decent contact fuse ability so DM + anything = Dosent needto be as crazy strong as dragoon but the negate of a spell/trap would be nice. Outside of that what would make the deck super cracked would bea searchable DM spell that is red eyes fusion for DM. That would then make you want to resolve circle. I don't even mind if it locks you into fusions, would be nice to send the materials from Deck to wherever, only issue is making it to broken and splashable the it goes in any deck, so maybe red eyes fusion level of restriction but you can only special spellcaster for the turn?

Tried it a while back, sadly just dosent get you anywhere. Red eyes is one of the most confused decks around. Has an insane fusion spell, but stops you doing anything for the turn. Wants you to xyz and fusion, but not both in the same turn

@@zephyrwargamesyugioh it is a pain. Although if your looking for something to try. Scrap the insights and red eyes fusion. Put in dark mages and normal polys along with the light - hexsealed fusion's. + Branded stuff naturally. I'm planning on trying it best thing I've thought of that might work.

Should allow you to use the hex's as dm's + branded stuff to. Allowing you to mix it up abit. With magicalize fusion to banish it from the grave for a dragoon after a branded fusion

Depends how you look at it, Art work prettying top tier. Effect definatly the best of the ones we have. Name, pretty decent Fact it's a spellcaster fits perfectly, Suppose the only issue would be weeb bait if that's what your going for 🤔
