Just to be clear...the anchor leg for Plainfield North appears to be Marcellus Moore and he currently has a 100m dash personal best of 10.12. That is national elite sprinter level and borderline international elite. This is a high school race. A great high school time is anything under 11.0. The other anchors probably ran a 10.8 or 10.9 and Marcellus Moore's high school best was 10.31. That means that Marcellus Moore was hawking guys that are exceptionally fast.
@coachtonyholler

Correct. The kid who lost the lead was a 10.90 guy. The kid in lane-8 was Courtney Lindsay who ran 9.89 in 2023 (Texas Tech).

Ok... THIS! is text book! so to speak! because it's not always just raw speed! that wins these relays! Baton passing (and within the zone!) is very important! So when you have "Clean & Smooth" baton passes, you can go from 4th to 1st! Because the team that won, were actually in 4th (nearly 5th place!) and their second leg runner is their weakest/slowest... But what they did have were clean baton passes! and also KNOW YOUR RUNNERS! make sure to set the team up to get the best results! = 🥇

Who holds the 60m record at the University of Texas? ⤵️ Marcellus Moore of Plainfield, IL. The guy you see in this video. You know who else is in this video? Courtney Lindsay of Rock Island, IL. Lindsay was NCAA 100m Champ last spring running for Texas Tech. His 10.89 and 19.86 is world class. Would those Texas HS 38s and 39s be run if the same guys went to a Chicago area high school. The answer is HELL NO. Troll elsewhere.
