I’m living in Stockholm for the summer and on my way to play cards I often see this homeless guy standing next to a 7/11. One time I decided I’ll make his day so I bought him a smoothie, milk, water, a few bags of nuts, a couple of candy bars and a pack of cigarettes. (I don’t like smoking cigarettes but the only time he’s ever asked me for something was when he asked me if I had a cigarette so I thought why not give him what he wants even though I don’t really like it. His reaction was ”no way man no way”, made me feel great.

Your discussion on ICM and essentially anything is more equity than potentially nothing and the amount you risk in the short term that could hinder your long term longevity. There was a prime example of that with a well respected poker pro on day 1 stream. Individual was UTG+1 and raised to 2,500 with AKo.. SB (55) and BB(QQ) both called UTG then 4 bet to 13k with AKo. UTG+1 folded their AKo with SB and BB as well. UTG took the pot with AKo took the pot for like 9k. I'm sure there are plenty of people that would have went in but it was a pre-flop decision to not even get involved for the long term vision and the potential short terms gains/risk. Good luck man
