It looks amazing! I really want a walk in pantry bc I love the idea of having all my small appliances stored there instead of under the counter, since it's less messy and I don't have to bend down to get anything heavy. I used musclebound in our kitchen. It saved me TONS of time, and was expensive. I'm happy with the results and that it saved me so much time, but the biggest downside to it was that it's flat, and has no room for error. Once tile and/or the wall is stuck to it, it's stuck. With thinset, you can put the tile on, and move it a few mm in either direction to put it in the perfect spot. And, in an area we had a tricky outlet, there's now a weird bulge (hardly noticeable, though), and thinset would've helped with this, because you can fill in low spots just by using a little more in that spot. All in, I'd use musclebound again, but only on a wall that had no issues, and I would've been more patient with it.
