I have been reading the Roundel since I was a kid, and would always drool over the full page Dinan ads in each issue. I would dream of whatever that greatest car was at the time, but then also doing a full Dinan kit on it! I really saw it as the ultimate build out..

Great design I have the intake on my m5cs it has the same front scoop. Combine that with afe scoops for the intakes and the car gets really good airflow. And lots of dirty and bugs in the filter so you know this working 😊

That carbon fiber intake is SEXY AF!!!! Too bad you didn’t have any Derlin washers to use with the bolts & washers mating the intake up. We use them on composites with our jets all the time. You can even 3D print them if you’re into that sorta thing.

I been searching for this answer everywhere, if a 50i has the same motor as a x5m why arent parts interchangeable. That intake would look amazing on my 50i

The 50i uses the N63 and the X5M uses bmws M engine the S63 similar on paper but it's not the same engine
