I work at the VA and you’re absolutely correct.. there are two different type of veterans 1) The ones who have to tell everyone about everything they did when they served 2) the ones who don’t like talking about it since it was a job and not a pretty one most of the time. If you served and all you want to do is talk about the Glory days it usually becomes your whole personality. I always hate when someone asks that has not served “oh did you kill anyone” like why would anyone want to talk about killing another person?
